About this deal

Bring ease to your cleaning routine with washable mattress that are easy to clean and wash in the washer. We enjoyed testing this bassinet, and our testing babies got many hours of valuable sleep while using it.

Bassinet - Wikipedia

In the bassinette mode there was a decent amount of storage underneath for blankets and other essentials, which I can imagine would be very useful on holiday. When we tried the SNOO, the representatives showed us all of the features, and how to use the app, and we even got a chance to place a baby inside and see how she liked it. Second, once it's set up next to your bed, you will love how easy it is to drop the side down (using a zipper on each side), and how low it drops. Collapsing and folding the Dreamer is made really easy thanks to the central foot which doubles as a handle.

The side panel also has a zipper which can be noisy, this is definitely not something sleep deprived parents want to be dealing with after they’ve finally settled their baby. When set up for children other than newborns (in the additional basinet), the mattress is quite low to the floor which makes it a little inconvenient to pick up your baby, but not a big deal if you’re using it occasionally for travel. Its heaviness does contribute to its sturdiness, though, which is why we like it as a regular bedside sleeper that generally stays in your adult bedroom except for occasional travel. However, fellow tester Bridget felt the mattress compared favourably with other models, saying: "As travel cots go this is one of the comfiest mattresses I’ve seen. Within the home, they are often raised on a stand or other surface to reduce back strain when bending over to tend the baby.

Finally, it's a bit heavy coming in at 20 pounds, and it only supports babies up to 20 pounds (or 5 months old); by comparison, the Mika Micky supports babies up to 33 pounds or until they can pull themselves into an upright position.
