This book, although something feels a tad bit archaic about it, is a behind-the-curtain peek at animation's most beloved proponent, and a very good way to get to know Walt, his ideas, and his modis operandi a little more intricately. Barrier touches on some of the more negative aspects of Disney's personality, temperament, etc than Thomas did, but doesn't get into as much detail as Gabler did, and simply glosses over certain important events in Walt's life/Disney history.
