The two are seen cheering in the crowd along with Sheryl and Gabriella in "Rainbow Vision Finale: Part 2" and "Rainbow Vision Finale: Part 3", so we can assume they are friends. Being also one of Bella's new roommates, Initially, Daria gets confused when she finds Bella in their room. However, their bond has strengthened overtime; this is showcased in websiodes, where they can be seen conversing. But, they both get along very well overall. Violet Willow has an online reality show called "The Vi Life". It is likely similar to a YouTube vlog channel. She has referred to her fan base as “The Vi Hive”. Violet is also someone who has big plans for the future. She greatly admires those who are more notable than her, rather than showing envy or jealousy, and wishes nothing more than to join them in the spotlight. Despite her dramatic tendencies, she's also shown to be a pretty practical person who handles pressure well. Having the online platform she does, she's no stranger to criticism and has learned not to lose her head over every negative comment.
Jade is shown to be bitter and angry towards Colin, due to him cheating on some of her best friends Skyler and Ruby. Like Ruby, Jade and Violet always seem to be on opposing ends of arguments, especially when Bella is involved. During " Going Viral", Jade was especially mad at Violet for posting the video. However, they made up so they are assumed to be on friendly terms, even if it is a little tense. Although officially a part of Series 2, Bella was released a little earlier than the other characters. This may be because she was a part of the main cast of characters in the animated series. She was the second (after Sunny) to accept Amaya as part of the group, and she shares a dorm room with her. Although they didn't exactly get along at first, after Violet found that Amaya was a fan, she started being friendly to her.Her original quote "I don't follow trends. I set them." was changed to "Own it! I would!" the same line she said in "The Prize at the End of the Rainbow" for unknown reasons. Due to Skyler's timid nature, she greatly clashes with Gabriella's large ego and snarky personality, despite having a similar major. Violet mentions how Jade is happily working with Jett and Robin on her Radiant Week project, mentioning her makeup skills.
Skyler Bradshaw is a 2020-introduced and all-around character. She is a student at Rainbow High that is currently focusing in Fashion Design. Skyler is another exciting talent at Rainbow High, but she's not quite ready to share her work with the world. She is one of the most talented fashion designers at Rainbow High, but she prefers to stay anonymous and let her work speak for itself. And it does. Her girls aren't fooled by Skyler's quiet exterior, they know Skyler has big things in her future, and they'll be there to support her when she makes her debut. Skyler has all-American style with a modern twist. Like some of the other girls, Jade isn't too fond of their overall bossiness and personality and was upset when they were rude to Amaya. Jade also disagrees with them about many topics like if Shadow High should be host for Rainbow Vision. She's seen answering a question in the episode, claiming she'll be sleeping after her runway project is over. Skyler is characterized by her shy, kind personality. She prefers to not talk that much and easily gets scared by almost anything that happens. She is super imaginative and can use classic designs to make something a big hit. She takes the designs and twists it her own way to make it look awesome. However, she doesn't usually brag or boast about her work - she lets it do the talking. Starting out Jade had the biggest grudge towards Amaya out of everyone, initially only seeing her as Bella's replacement. Even with her best efforts Jade remained rather bitter towards Amaya, being passive aggressive and dismissive of her ideas and plans for their shared runway project. This did eventually change however, as after Amaya revealed the Color Change Chamber Jade realized that Amaya is rather talented and is her own person, allowing them to see each other as equals and becoming friends. Despite barely even knowing each other, Amaya and Bella have a rather complicated relationship. Amaya first learns of her after meeting her runway group, learning that she is in fact her replacement. Amaya feels guilty about this, however Bella appears rather bitter towards her. They were later seen talking in " The Eclipse - Phase One, Part Two", suggesting that they have become friends. Making her next major appearance, Jade appears with Bella in the auditorium to hear about Radiant Week from Ms. Wright and Ms. Morton. When everyone is allowed to choose their groups Bella plans to be with Jade, however she ends up choosing Jett and Robin, offending Bella and making her go with others too. Jade then tries to comfort her but Bella is having none of it and they both end up shutting each other out for the episode. Near the end they both run into each other in the halls, where Bella confronts Jade, ending their conflict on a cliffhanger.
Jade is mentioned by Violet as she talks about Jade's pet tarantula escaping and running throughout the school. January 8th, 2021: Bella makes her last appearance as a member of the runway group in " Enter Amaya".
Sunny and Violet are very close, as the two have been friends since they were young children, their moms are friends, so they've known each other forever. Sunny always hypes up The Vi Life and congratulates her on important milestones, while Violet is always there to compliment Sunny's exceptional creativity. Violet however, broke her trust when she didn't send the papers to get their rooms together because Violet wanted to meet new people. But, they made up later and are still very close and are great best friends. Once again making a minor appearance, Jade is terrified about not finding Amaya, even exclaiming how things would be better if Bella never left. After Amaya and the rest of the girls fix the dresses, Jade gives Amaya words of appreciation and gratitude. Bella, along with Lila and Nicole, took part in Naomi's Set Design Workshop. Bella appears to dislike her, especially when she says her best work is somewhere between basic and mediocre. She is proclaimed to be the most talented first-year fashion designer that Rainbow High has seen in a long time.
Jade is both seen and mentioned by Violet as she recaps the year, with her talking about Jade's love of makeup. Bella and Poppy are good friends, bonding over their love of artistic expression. In particular they enjoyed working on their runway project, with Poppy being heartbroken to see Bella being expelled. Working with her group, Jade and her friends tell Poppy that she is needed to help break the tie of their runway look. Jade asserts that Poppy needs to choose because it is an important part of their project. Nonetheless, after Poppy chooses and is selected to DJ, Jade is very happy for her. Bella had a much duller, more rose gold color scheme within the first few episodes of the animated series. For an unknown reason, this was changed to a brighter, more pink color. Being the one interviewed and focused on, she goes on about her love of makeup and hair styling, telling of how sad she was when her friends didn't like her designs. She also reveals they never finished their escape room, with everyone instead letting her give them bonding makeovers, letting her know she was appreciated.Though they should be rivals, Violet seems to regard Karma with a lot of respect, and has expressed interest in collaborating with her. It's still unknown if Karma feels the same way but she did give her show The Vi Life a shout out, saying that it is cute in Episode 4 " The De'Vious Twins Spill the Tea! Yass Boo!". Violet has known Sunny and Luna ever since they were babies. Their moms are friends, so they've known each other forever.
