About this deal

Thank you to Bookishfirst, Zondervan, Tanya Rad, and Raquelle Stevens for sending me this book in exchange for an honest review.

A side note: I'm not even slightly embarrassed to admit I own all three U.S. editions. If a new edition of SUNSHINE comes out, I buy it. End of story. It helps that they're all so very pretty. If pressed, I will admit that the original hardcover with the chandelier is my favorite. But I adore all three. And the important thing is that they're there. On my shelves. So that when the urge arises, I can take them out and stroke them and know that they're there and that they're loved. I know. But like I said--not even a little embarrassed. As these are two young women who move in prominent media circles in LA, I actually feel proud of them for standing up for their faith and being willing to share with others how to find true joy through Christ alone. Huge thanks to Tanya and Raquelle for being willing to write this bright and uplifting devotional book! I like the relationships between the characters, and I expect that there will be more buildup in future books. I want to learn more about them. They are very different protagonists and their past is still quite hidden. There is room for more development.

Book Review

Catalina is a fiercely independent woman who ran away from her past but now she has to face it at her sister’s wedding where her former fiance is the best man.

The story of a young mother, a free spirit born in the aftermath of the flower power generation, who dies of cancer at only twenty years of age and records her thoughts on tape for the benefit of her daughter, has haunted me for more than thirty years, ever since I first saw the movie in a ‘cinematheque’ as a student. It never played again anywhere, and I was wondering if my older self would be as impressed with the story as my young and impressionable twenties one did. Okay, so I seriously pondered over whether to give this book three stars or four. In the end, I DID enjoy it so I felt generous and gave it four, but it's not without its faults. V. Do we let negativity be our default too much and not put out enough energy into spreading positivity. Retirement should never be this hard! As the group works together to solve the puzzles, they begin to open up to each other about their past lives and what brought them to this retirement community which they hoped would be so relaxing it would solve all their previous worries! But the group, through their questioning of suspects, has put themselves in danger. Can they solve these crimes before one of them becomes the next victim? Why does it seem the police continually seem to look the other way?So whilst I enjoyed much of the book, I found myself falling asleep a lot because it would launch into these long stories like my 80 year old grandma does when you ask her how her day was. Don't even get me started on how UNRESOLVED the end was. There were things I REALLY wanted to know. There were certain sexy scenes I REALLY wanted to read and there was information and intrigue that was left dangling! It's infuriating! Anyway, the premise was great. The execution? Let's say not so much. Some of the characters were just flat-out unlikeable, a few were unbelievable and/or caricatures of a type, and there was _way_ too much angsty deep dark secret malarkey going on for my taste. Like, I literally started rolling my eyes any time any of those dead horses got beaten again after about a third of the way through the book. Constantine: A vampire held in captivity by the same vampires that captured Sunshine. He is somehow different than the other vampires (exactly how is never revealed in the book, although it is clear it has something to do with his eating habits, as the setup with Sunshine is clearly meant to make him drink from and kill her), but he is able to go out in moonlight which most vampires his age cannot.

When the orzo’s ready, stir it into everything else and season to taste. Top with the coriander sprigs and serve with the lime slices or wedges. Where can I buy Slimming World recipe books? Here is a useful tip, should you ever find yourself face-to-face with a vampire: they are living corpses that eat people. They are not sun-sparkling, abstinent forever-teens. Staying inside all day and being forced to personally kill all of your food doesn't bode well for your mental health (not to mention the fact that you have been alive so long, you've had to re-buy all your Beatles albums in like five different formats). However, there are some words that may be harder for younger kids to understand, and the subject matter can be a bit tough at times, so I’d recommend it mostly for young teens and above. It really shone a light on how families can be dealing with difficult issues that you might not be able to tell from the outside, which made it a thought-provoking read. to us in relation to such holidays are fully protected by insurance (arranged by International Passenger
