The accompanying score - which pervades, penetrates and outright smothers just about everything else - is a highly emotional one, cranking up the tragedy, the sadness, the pain and longing, and building to an absolute crescendo during the extended twist and chase/docking sequence. The story of Interstellar has to do with the same old subject worn over and over in the world of science fiction, the doom and gloom of our planet. I often hear from enthusiasts who rate the quality of movie soundtracks by the amount and depth of the bass it produces. Will Cooper and his crew be able to navigate the dangers of space and save the Earth or are they doomed? It's a continuously taut juggernaut of epic space action accompanied by Hans Zimmer's organ-infused score.

Make no mistake, Matthew McConaughey (all is forgiven for those Lincoln commercials) is at the top of his game here. Hans Zimmer’s beautiful music score is a perfect mate for the spirit of the film as it is often blended with action sequences and sounds superb.

Here you get an exclusive passport to travel with the cast and crew to Iceland and see the challenges they faced in creating two vastly different worlds (ice and water ones) in one country. Both Blu Ray and 4K Ultra HD discs are included so naturally i have tested them both on my PS5 and LG OLED tv. The platitudes begin to wear thin right when the movie gets exciting, so it's easy to forget about the labored insistence of the screenplay to throw down eternally true witticisms.

Together with Physicist Kip Thorne who also served as the film’s Executive Producer, we learn some of the logistics in the film, the creative licenses (not) taken and get a crash course in Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. So when it was announced that he’d direct the long-awaited Interstellar, which once had Steven Spielberg’s name attached to it, people took notice. If you know anything about this film, then you probably already know at least something about its lengthy production history and how it’s been in development for quite some time, even in the very capable hands of Spielberg, and also formerly written by Jonathan Nolan (at least three drafts of it if memory serves me correct), but I digress. DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack there will be a new addition among them as this presentation rocked, literally.While nothing can be said negative about the top billing of Jessica Chastain, she just wasn’t given enough to work with here in my opinion.
