The Korean dub of the Series 5, the intro is shortened to 30 seconds and starts halfway through the intro. In the Series 5 intro as Sam is driving Jupiter down the main street of Pontypandy during the line "...Fireman Sam! 'Cause he's gonna save the day!...", if one looks closely it can be seen that Jupiter's lights do not flash at the correct rate near the end of the shot. From Heroes of the Storm onwards, the theme received a brand new guitar arrangement plus other instruments in a modernisation attempt. Previously released on two videos: Fireman Sam 1: The Hero Next Door (BBCV 4101) and Fireman Sam 2: Lost Cat (BBCV 4137), the adventures of Pontypandy's hero are now available on this bumper compilation. It just isn't Bella Lasagne's day. First, she has a fire in her cafe. And then, her cat - Rosa - goes missing. It looks like it's going to be a busy day for Fireman Sam.

Both these goofs were corrected in the Series 8 - 9 intro. The Polish version of the 1987 theme is played in a completely different arrangement, with the singer out of sync with the music. Phew, it's hot outside today! With the weather so dry, Pontypandy's Fire Department are especially busy. And now, Jupiter - The Fire Engine - is almost out of water.

A new golf bag makes an excellent retirement present for Station Officer Steele. Then, a worried Sam and the crew are called to a fire at Trevor's potting shed - worried, because that's where they've hidden the present!
