About this deal

Two sqauds of Phase I Clone Troops enter the fight to preserve the Republic. Five carry the DC-15A blaster rifle while two heavy weapons specialists add extra firepower with a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon and a DC-15 blaster rifle modified to fire from long range. [3] War has engulfed the galaxy. The vast forces of the Separatist Alliance, bolstered by seemingly endless ranks of battle droids, have pushed the Galactic Republic to the brink of dissolution and defeat. The Republic’s only hope is its army of elite clone troopers, led into battle by noble, Force-wielding Jedi Knights. The war between them is an epic struggle where every battle could turn the tide and change the fate of the galaxy. While armies of Battle Droids built in droid foundries and Clone Troopers created from the same genetic template may sound strictly uniform, there are plenty of opportunities for you to build a unique army. On top of choosing the troops and vehicles that round out your armies, the Clone Wars Core Set gives you the ability to tweak your individual units with a suite of forty upgrade cards. Whether you’re looking for a way to increase a unit’s firepower or to improve your lines of communication, you’ll find a mix of new and reprinted upgrade cards to build an army uniquely your own.

Two squads of Phase I Clone Troops enter the fight to preserve the Republic. Five carry the DC-15A blaster rifle while two heavy weapons specialists add extra firepower with a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon and a DC-15 blaster rifle modified to fire from long range. Painting all three models was very easy with the whole process not taking too long due to the small amount of paints and steps needed for the models, what I did to paint them was follow these steps: One unit of two Droidekas is ready to speed into battle in wheel mode. Once there, the wheel mode miniatures can be replaced by two Droideka miniatures ready to lay down heavy fire on targets the B1 Battle Droids cannot take care of. [3] While the Battle Droids and Clone Troopers you find here mainly saw action during the Clone Wars, this does not mean they’re limited to fighting one another in Star Wars: Legion. Once you’ve built your clone or droid army, you’re free to deploy it against the forces of the Galactic Empire or the Rebel Alliance and play out any Star Wars ground battle you’d like! The Galactic Republic has never faced a threat like the Separatist Alliance. Can you assemble a force strong enough to stop the droid armies and preserve peace across the galaxy?

Civilized Warrior

This core set introduces the Separatist Alliance and Galactic Republic factions to STAR WARS: LEGION. It contains everything that two players need to stage a battle between the Separatist droid forces and the clone soldiers of the Republic. This core set can be used as a starting point for collecting STAR WARS: LEGION miniatures and for building and customizing your own Separatist or Republic army! [4] This game-related article is a stub. You can help Wookieepedia by expanding it.

While Jedi Generals like Anakin Skywalker lead the Grand Army of the Republic, clone troopers keep it running at peak efficiency. Some clones even combine the skill at arms and genetic template all clones share with further specialized training in areas like communications and engineering to support Republic operations on the ground. Ultimately, Star Wars: Legion is more than just a game—it’s an invitation to create an army that only you could have built, gathering troopers, vehicles, and iconic characters from the Star Wars saga and pitting them against your opponent’s army in battle. The first step in building your army is to select your side and choose the units that will make up your army. Even within the Core Set, you already have impactful choices to make with units of Rebel Troopers and Stormtroopers, along with 74-Z Speeder Bikes, an AT-RT, Darth Vader, and Luke Skywalker. You may be planning to play out a small-scale skirmish between just a few units or a massive battle, but either way, the units that you choose are the foundation of your army. Both Echo and Fives lend their specific skills to whatever unit they’re assigned, but these ARC Troopers also provide a more basic benefit. Their upgrade cards feature an additional wounds statistic that they use instead of the wounds statistic of the unit they’re equipped to, making them even tougher than the average clone trooper. When you send them on a mission, you can be sure they'll do everything they can to complete it. On the Front LinesThe Separatist Alliance poses a threat to peace in the galaxy, wielding a massive droid military with overwhchning numbers. Standing against them are the clone troopers of the Galactic Republic, who are trained as soldiers from their conception and deeply loyal to their cause. The war between them is an epic strugle in which every battle could turn the tide and change the fate of the galaxy... [4] Revered by his fellow Jedi and the clones who serve under his command alike, Skywalker employs all manner of unorthodox tactics as he fights to rid the galaxy of the Separatist menace. Now, he is ready to take command of your Star Wars™: Legion armies with the Anakin Skywalker Commander Expansion! Whether they use these tools to skirt an enemy’s flank or wade straight into the action, ARC Troopers have the training to deal with any situation. A healthy dose of

Not sure what game to buy next? Buy a premium mystery box for two to four great games to add to your collection! Buy Premium Box » When TechRaptor’s Tabletop Editor Adam Potts first reviewed the original Star Wars: Legion core set, he explained the hobby aspect of the game as such: Legions takes this intergalactic war to the surface as you pit the rebel scum against the Empire! Of course Star Wars is full of vehicles that don’t fly around space and Legions allows you mess around in AT-AT, AT-ST and SATs exams. (Maybe not the last one). The official field manual for the Imperial Military, the Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide, estimated that the total amount within a stormtrooper legion lay between 8,192 and 12,800 troops. [2] [3] In addition, although legion was the largest possible unit of the Stormtrooper Corps, various legions from other sectors have been known to join in a major offensive with other legions belonging to the Sector Group where the offensive took place. [4] A BARC Speeder miniature gives your Clone Troopers some much-needed speed as they look to outmaneuver the Separatist's battle droids and can be assembled with or without its sidecar. Those who include the sidecar can further customize their speeder with a twin laser gunner, an RPS-6 gunner, or an ion gunner. [3]Zatu has an excellent range of games and for most of them the best prices too. Delivery is always fast and I have never received a game in bad condition. 10/10 would recommend. Every clone is trained to fight and give their life for the Republic. But not all clones have the training to keep the Grand Army of the Republic running like a well-oiled machine. Add even more variety to your armies when the Republic Specialists Personnel Expansion arrives on February 19! The Republic Specialists Personnel Expansion puts four clone troopers with special training at your disposal, allowing you to field a generic commander unit and add personnel upgrades to other units in your army, including a clone commander unit leader, clone medic, clone engineer, and a clone comms technician. No matter which of these troops you choose, you can always make use of the Republic’s signature strategies with the three new command cards exclusive to the Galactic Republic faction found here. Star Wars: Legion puts you in command of your own army of units straight out of the Star Wars saga, engaging your opponent in furious firefights across a war-torn galaxy. During a game, you will strategically maneuver your troops through bombed-out warzones, unleash barrages of blaster fire, and engage in lethal lightsabre duels in a desperate struggle to determine the fate of the galaxy.
