About this deal

US author Mark Twain spoke of the Lorelei in his satiric travelogue "A Tramp Abroad," published in 1880, as the "ancient legend of the Rhine. " Lorelei served as inspiration for a 1960 poem published by American Sylvia Plath.

Benicio and his twin have a friendly relationship, although when they interact they still maintain the dynamic of their childhood and adolescence, with Benny playing pranks on his older brother. The Lorelei is actually a German myth. Most of the information comes from Romantic poet Clemens Brentano in his ballad Lore Lay . The tale is a continuation of one of his novels so naturally, the tale is embellished to fit the narrative, but it does reveal a lot about the nature of the nymph. It was also during the bloody struggles of that long past war that the bloodline would be changed forever. During a near fatal encounter, your ancestor, Alfarr Lorelei, was bitten, near the end days of the war. The curse of lycanthropy burned its way into the blood of Alfarr in a relentless fever that nearly drove him mad, but he did not bend to it. He persisted, as did his daughter, and her sons, and so on. The family's secret has been closely guarded over the centuries, and in its earliest days, the curse was seen as just that, a curse. But with time came acceptance, and the responsibility of power. Once of age, Lorelei youths eventually undergo The Taming of their wilder nature and their animalistic blood, and it has largely been responsible for the family's ascension over many a generation. Some have faltered. There have certainly been dark periods in the Lorelei history, individuals who let their baser impulses rule them. But the family always returned to the right and the good.Official art ofthe drow stranger, by Kendra Wellsfrom " Liam's One-Shot: The Song of the Lorelei" (OSx23). [art 1] Portia is described as accomplished and driven. She was shown to be very headstrong, demanding to undergo the Taming two years early and charging into a large group of skeletons without knowing if she'd get reinforcements. When Aurra was reunited with her siblings in Deastok after a long time apart, she was relatively cordial with them, though belittling their fastidiousness towards the wilderness. His name derives from Benedict, which in turn derives from the combination of the Latin words bene (good) and dicte (speak). In a certain way, his name is ironic, since he is the bluntest of the siblings. Her energy and spirit is portrayed in this period as luring men to their deaths, even if she was not to blame. This is just one of the stories that surrounds the Lorelei, but it shows how the Victorian themes of romance, lost love and their obsession with death created a tragic romantic tale. The tale of Die Loreley is so much more than that, however. Her spirit is too strong for this world, it cannot be contained.

Lucius was the only one of the Lorelei siblings not to transform into his werewolf during the one-shot episode. The officers of the court, and especially the Archbishop were so taken by her beauty that they forgave her offenses, and sent her to live out her days in a Convent. Okay Mel, I’ll begin with Lorelei, when she was beseeching her husband, Heinrich, to be careful. ‘The sea is dangerous mistress,’ she said, ‘and shall not claim you as her own.’ Portia is at least seven years younger than Aurra, and Erica Luttrell stated that her character was around 23 in human years, but she had lived at least three more years as a wolf in the woods, making her at least 26 years old. The twins were born when Portia was still very young, presumably less than 3.

[art 2] Lucius is two years younger than Aurra, and Erica Luttrell stated that her character was around 23 in human years, but she had lived at least three more years as a wolf in the woods, making her at least 26 years old. We’re approaching her now, if you look on your left, you’ll see a steep cliff, more than one-hundred and thirty meters tall, made of slate. That’s the Lorelei. The siren. She was a great beauty, but not as beautiful as you, Miss…?” After that the siblings took a small break, during which Portia berated her older siblings for their decision to bury Katerine in the woods, away from the rest of House Lorelei. Aurra, however, defended her decision, saying that the old woman deserved a natural burial, and Lucius pointed out that half of their deceased ancestors were wandering the Cyrengreen Forest as undead anyway (an effect of one of the intruder's magic). [15] She was the eldest of the five Lorelei children, being two years older than Lucius, [8] and at least seven years older than Portia. [9]. Aurra remembered her mother, Rosalind, only a little, but it was great-aunt Katerine Lorelei who raised her alongside her father, Lord Haldur Lorelei (who had also been raised by Katerine), teaching her how to read and write. I pray thee,” she concluded wearily, “I pray thee, my lord, let me die. I know, alas! that many true knights have died for love of me, and now I fain would die for the sake of one who hath forsaken me.” She was the Lorelei sibling with the highest initiative in all the battles they were in during the one-shot.

As she approaches, she removes her sunglasses and shakes her blonde hair, which falls in golden waves, partially covering her bare shoulders. The wind whips the skirt of her pale green dress, billowing gracefully around her sculpted legs. Her smile is sly and bright, her lips red and full. [art 5] Portia was the third child born from Lord and Lady Lorelei, being at least five years younger than Lucius, the brother immediatly preceding her. [6] Portia had no memories of her mother Rosalind (who died giving birth to Lawrence and Benicio, the twins) and instead was raised by her father Haldur and her great-aunt Katerine. [7] As both her elder siblings chose paths outside of the Lorelei family traditions, she was the first of Hal's children to fit the mold of a Lorelei noble. She excelled at everything, demanded to undergo the Taming two years early and while she loved her elder siblings she was glad to assume their seat of power. CODEC Stories:

The captain continues. “Lorelei recognised her husband at once. She cried out, ‘Heinrich!’ But he turned away and led the butcher’s daughter further into the house, shutting the door behind him. Lorelei dropped her basket on the muddy road and screamed and cried. Then she ran and ran and until she reached the banks of the Rhein. And she climbed and climbed the steepest cliff she could find. She paused at the top, gazing down the sharp precipice, and then leapt to her demise.”
