About this deal

Coming in at around 5.4 pounds the NERF Hyper Mach 100 is the largest gun in the Hyper series. This is a fully-automatic blaster with an integrated 100 round hopper (note, it only comes with 80 rounds so you may need a top up); so if you are looking to make a splash on the blasting field and absolutely dominate your enemies this is a good place to start! The initial velocity of a round is typically determined by the type of firing mechanism being used. Each of the blasters listed above utilized either a spring-powered system or a battery-powered fly-wheel (similar to a baseball pitching machine). Spring-Powered

Like the rest of the line, the Mach-100 features a fine paintjob, combining a 90s vibe with carbon fiber-style molding. The main handle is quite comfortable; the body of the handle is slightly below that of the Perses, but is paired with responsive triggers that feel great to use. The front grip/battery tray is a natural place to put your offhand, and helps with bearing the weight of the batteries. The Hyper rounds are both the best and worst thing about this series. The size of the rounds allows for more capacity, but they have too much traction, which causes clogging issues. Another factor to consider is springs store potential energy and as such, the blaster needs to be durable enough to withstand the compression force and energy release of the spring. Battery-Powered This blaster is pretty simple to prime, load, and fire. However, the Fuel has the same issues that all Hyper guns have so far in that the ammo will bind up in the hopper. Once you get used to it, it’s not bad, but you will have to occasionally shake the gun to help it feed correctly. For example, Nerf Elite darts are terrible at high speeds. This is because they are made of very lightweight foam and are rather long, which causes them to osculate at higher speeds fly in whichever direction they see fit. It was initially leaked in March of 2020 through online retailers. [2] It was officially announced on February 25, 2021. [1] Trivia [ ] Hyper ammo is very bouncy and that is another reason to wear eye protection while using these blasters. The Mach-100, in my testing, averaged 108fps, just shy of the advertised 110fps. However, this was on single shots; fully automatic fire bogs down the flywheel motors quite a bit. Rate of fire, meanwhile, averaged between 3 and 4 balls per second, depending on how well the ammo feeds. You get inconsistent spurts of heavy fire, followed by gaps.

At the rear of the blaster, you will find a priming indicator that will show yellow when it’s primed. In the same area, there is an unjamming button that will help you clear the occasional pesky jam. Though this gun has a good ammo velocity, the ranges vary from 30-60 feet. Unfortunately, with the way the ammo is designed, many of the shots will curve off or down after 20 feet or so. The balls are the smallest Nerf ammo currently, but the fluorescent yellow color makes it easier to find as you might think.Nerf has joined the high-performance foam blasting game with the new Stryfe Pro X blaster! This elite blaster delivers foam at an optimal 150 FPS high-capacity dart blasting for intense Nerf wars. Last but not least, on the left side is a trigger safety to help reduce an accidental shooting. Hyper balls will sting at close range, so while a safety may seem silly, it could protect an eye or two. Performance Softer materials like foam absorb more of the impact force than harder materials like rubber. So ideally if you want your blaster to hit hard, you’ll want to use a denser material that doesn’t squish. This one feels chunky, while it’s not heavy it feels big. However, it is the only one that has a pop open hooper doors that are button activated.
