What an ending! Such a whirlwind of a book and series. It's been so fun being a part of the Rembrandt Stone world this whole year. I have enjoyed each and every book and it's a bit bittersweet for the series to end. You definitely need to read the other five books first since it's a continuing story. This series would make a great TV series.

The Heart of Stone was a series on Nina and Tristan and a happy dance is done when you find out that the next generation is getting a chance to be heard. You don’t have to read Tristian/Nina’s story, but if you had it’s nice seeing them again. I never finished their series unfortunately and I hope to do so down the road. Spooky that Ethan (their son and character in this story) looks like a dead image of Tristian on the cover but Nailed it! I love when authors portray the cover exactly as it should the character image. I’m a total cover girl! When sitting down to read this story don’t expect to put it down until Midnight ends. Trust me it hooks you and adulting be darn you will finish it late at night to see the outcome. Boo the books end, but I really cannot wait to see how the girls (his siblings) play out. Can we maybe just hint at C & D being put in the story? Yes, vague so I don’t spoil who C maybe as a potential one for Diana. Tressa is so much like her daddy, whereas, Diana is like her momma. Susan May Warren is the USA Today bestselling, Christy and RITA award–winning author of more than eighty novels whose compelling plots and unforgettable characters have won acclaim with readers and reviewers alike. The mother of four grown children, and married to her real-life hero for over 30 years, she loves travelling and telling stories about life, adventure and faith. Dakota Willink is an Award-Winning USA Today Bestselling Author. She loves writing about damaged heroes who fall in love with sassy and independent females. Her books are character-driven, emotional, and sexy, yet written with a flare that keeps them real. With a wide range of published books, a magazine publication, and the Leave Me Breathless World under her belt, Dakota's imagination is constantly spinning new ideas.

That being said, if you do decide to take this fast-paced, heart-pounding adventure, you won't hate the ending. I'm not going to spoil anything, because after all this time there's no telling which iteration of his life Rem will discover. But the weeping that I talked about? Yeah. This is where it happened. The heroine in this book is Summer Carmichael, and she is a sweet, honest, hardworking independent woman who finds it very hard to believe that someone like Ethan would be interested in plain ole Summer. The wholesome girl next door soon finds out he is interested, but he can't or won't be honest with her when she needs him to be.

I really loved the Stone family. I will definitely be reading the next stories in this series again. That said I did not love the author's writing style (as I mentioned its a new author for me.) At times I was confused as I felt the book sort of told me things that happened and it jumped into the future. I like to experience it rather being told after the fact. That said it was well written, I just did not like the way it jumped ahead in the story. Most days, things went perfectly smoothly. It was only at times like this, when she had to deal with a special event and potential donors, that Ella ended her day feeling as if she'd been dragged behind a car over a field of broken glass. Words can not express how truly excited I was when I learned the Heart of Stone series was continuing on with the triplets. And the first book to continue on with is the beloved only son? SIGN. ME. UP. Ethan looks like his handsome dad, but his work ethic? Well as long as it involved beautiful models, he's good to go. He's a playboy, with no intention of settling down. Until he meets Summer. Lines blur, feelings erupt and what we are left with is an epic love story fit for a Stone. But that didn’t mean I didn’t want to make her my wife. She exemplified the triskelion, representing my past, my present, and my future.Without her, I am nothing. When Ella's guests had scattered, Bea waved her over and introduced her to both Dr. Maurice Lefavreau and one of the museum's greatest benefactors. Even with her mental shields still up from interacting with the tour group, something about Stanley had slipped through Ella's defenses and convinced her that this was a man she'd much prefer to keep at the greatest possible distance in the future. This is a brilliant debut novel by Dakota Willink. While reading this book, I was put through a multitude of different emotions from good to bad. I was truly captivated by this story & how the two characters were trying to find their way. As I'm writing this I feel stunned by what I read. It isn't that it's another dark romance dealing with BDSM but how Ms. Willink wrote the book. I would definitely recommend this book. The book is meant for mature readers. Def a must read if you are FSOG fan! loving the concept of steamy hot romance of a Dom and submissive!! Rembrandt sums it up so well in these words: “A thousand tiny things…but I can Laundry: Even if you haven't read the Heart of Stone series, you know KM brings the heat. The zings sent through my fingertips while reading these laundry scenes, has my fingers still buzzing. Ethan and Summer have some seriously hot chemistry. Ethan makes a comment about good girls being wild in bed... so freaking true. I loved their first time as much as I loved the final laundry scene. It's hot. It's sweaty. It's over and over again. And you're welcome. Before I begin my review I want to share that I have NEVER read this author before, nothing from her and this is a 2nd generation series. It stars Ethan Stone who is the son of the first series. Ethan is a playboy photographer and he meets Summer on a job. She is running the photo shoot as she is an editor assistant of a magazine.

Without warning, Stanley jerked away, releasing her mouth and leaving her with the taste of her own blood in her mouth. The True Lies of Rembrandt Stone has been a hard series for me to read. I couldn't look away, I was on the edge of my seat, and yet there were things that bothered me. Both in regard to the plot and the content. Here in this final installment, if you thought Rem had been on the verge of losing everything before—well, just hang on. He's really about to lose everything. So for one last time, he heads to the past to see what difference he can make. My only complaint in this book is that the villain was not a surprise. I was expecting a twist but that’s okay. Sometimes the journey more than makes up for it. Everyone who caught a glimpse of it marveled at its condition, for nearly a millennium of exposure to the elements had smoothed away remarkably few of the details that made it such an impressive work of art. The museum's director had supposedly gloated for weeks after acquiring it a couple of years ago, and frankly, Ella couldn't blame him.
