I’ve had ‘pure dead brilliant’ shouted at me for years as well. I don’t think it’ll ever go now so I am happy with it. Safely moored we caught up on sleep, cleaned the salt off the boat, there was a lot and in places very hard to reach. But work done we had a crew meal with the other boats at the marina restaurant. It was a great way to get over the challenges of the past two days. The weather has been kind. We are mainly sailing on a beam reach with winds 10-20 knots. The sea state is generally calm, nothing above 2m. It’s a really lovely sail to end our trip on. Fingers crossed it remains so.
