This single barrel bourbon, taken from the middle sections of Blanton's Warehouse H, was once the preserve of ambassadors, dignitaries and friends and family of Colonel Blanton himself.

Blanton - and believe it or not, the 'B' stood for 'Bacon' - the Blanton's branding was created by Buffalo Trace Master Distiller Elmer T. When dignitaries and important folk visited what was then the Old Fire Copper Distillery, Blanton would treat them to samples from selected casks taken from Warehouse H. On the nose, notes of dark chocolate, caramel and butter with earthy undertones of walnut and hazelnut. The oldest continuously operating distillery in America also happens to have one of the largest families of homegrown bourbon brands in any industry. Fun Fact: The distincive horse and jockey on the top of the bottle is a distinctive trademark of Blantons.
