Originally self-released in 2013, Minecraft Volume Beta was C418’s longest batch of music to date at nearly 140 minutes. otherwise my pressing is pretty solid, though i’m certainly taking some point off for the problems i had. the first two tracks of side D also have an annoying pop every second or so that takes from the experience a bit. This is the second part to the official soundtrack to the most popular video game in recent history.

In August 2020, record label Ghostly released the first physical versions of the album, in CD and LP formats. The run time is now adapted to fit the double LP format, while digital downloads include the full set. Some songs have some kind of distorsion that makes them unpleasant to listen to, but most of the songs are ok. As others have said, it makes sense for this release to have a bit of noise but it gets bad occasionally.
