About this deal

If A30a is connected to the high level input of SW, a short circuit condition may occur inside SW and destroy A30a. I was also considering an amplifier based on the Hypex Ncore NC252MP module. Here is Amir's review of the IOM NCore Pro (based on Hypex NC252MP): https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...d-measurements-of-iom-ncore-pro-pwr-amp.8979/ It’s great that they have an LPF for the sub but I want to remove what I am sending to the sub from the mains.

You can get more info from users in this forum: www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/sabaj-a30a-announced.35714/ This is available on Prime sporadically and I would suggest going there for a trial that can safely be returned. Incidentally there is talk of feature problems and they have been mostly fixed with V1.12. This had to do with subwoofer volume and defeat. To be honest I was not surprised. if anything Chinese makers (not just audio) have been flooding the market with model after model with quite big overlap between those. I did also BRIEFLY connected the Sabaj to my Elac Vela BS403 (that I usually drive with my Denon DRA800 H stereo receiver) and I cannot say I detected a significant improvement over the Denon (maybe the bass are a little bit more tight with the Sabaj than with the Denon). However this is a very preliminary analysis considering that I had to move the Velas on the other side of the room to connect them to the Sabaj. Due to the new Axign-Full Digital Amplification technology it can probably compete with AB class amplifiers that cost 3 to 5 times more As @Mixed_Messages explained, the A30a uses the entire aluminum case as a heatsink. Therefore, it is very easy to feel the heat when you touch it. If the cost of the A30a is fine with you, I suggest giving it a try. I hope you can understand what I mean. And Sabaj A30a using all aluminum alloy CNC processing technology, using anodizing technology, fine workmanship, first-class touch. Due to its CNC aluminum shell, temperature control is greatly improved to heat dissipation capacity. In addition, this housing has a nice appearance without compromising on performance or additions of cooling elements. A chassis temperature display is implemented so you can controlled the temperature and sound quality.

Connectivity & Bluetooth 5.0

It would be extremely useful to have the possibility to set a cut off frequency lower than 70 Hz for the SW output A large number of audiophile-grade audio components are used to enhance the subjective sense of hearing;

For the test I used my Dali Zensor 3 bookshelf speakers (I had no time to switch them with my Elac Vela BS 403). I know the Dali are not considered “audiophile grade” however they perform pretty well in my room and are quite analytic on the mids and highs. I’m not one of those audiophiles who is able to describe the sound of a device or a system using fancy terms. What I can say is that with the Sabaj I did not notice any particular difference in the reproduction of the low frequencies of my Dali Zensor 3, maybe they are a little bit more controlled than with my previous amplifier (I read somewhere that the SMSL VMV A2 twin device has an insanely high dumping factor of 4000). On the other hand the mid and high frequencies seems to be more alive and in general the music reproduction is more detailed and engaging. Although I would not bet my left kidney, I would say that I also noticed an improvement in the imaging and soundstage likely due to the very limited crosstalk between the two channels. I did not know what to expect from my first class D amplifier, in summary I would say that the sound is detailed, natural and not fatiguing at all. And it should be fine doing that; it’s going into lower-than-rated impedances where things tend to get iffy. From some reason the default Microsoft failed to work with Code 39 (the drivers Microsoft themselves licensed from thesycon), so sadly I had to rely on the Manufacturer provided drivers.
