The Coastline Plus has a rising, thick polyethylene groundsheet which gives you protection from bad weather. I have just had the opportunity to try this tent out for the first time whilst on a motorcycle trip. I've been camping many times, my previous tent was busted so thought it was time to invest in a new one. Yes, there is enough room in the sleeping pod for three people to sleep comfortably, there isn’t much space for anything else, including storing your things. When re-erecting it was a little quicker but I found some of the plastic hooks had come adrift from the loops which they attach too, so had to spend a little time refitting and checking.people - Room for 1 single airbed, 2 sleeping bags on mats and no bags except for in the porch, which has fairly decent shelter from the elements - there is a cover you can put down. I used it for the first time in August last year on a walking trip to Yorkshire and despite the heavy rain we were warm and dry although I did get a little water in the porch because of the design (the sides of the porch are a couple of inches off the ground) it was no problem as all my gear was nice and dry inside.

I did manage to roll the whole tent up with inner attached and replace in the carry bag without a problem. The inner tent is from a breathable material, and there is a gap between the shell and the inner canopy for ventilation. The front door has two zippers on the sides so you can roll the flap above as shown in the picture below, or you can create an awning.This ensures that weather is kept away from the inner living area and I found it works extremely well, bone dry in the morning. we pitched literally about 20 feet from the bottom of Cadair Idris and then climbed the mountain after breakfast. The inner porch floor covering has a couple of small holes but this does not impact in the tent in any way.
