Sometimes we dont necessariy love our work or certain thing we do but there is a source of motivation that drives us,similar to how certain individual who used to like his work earlier but due to stress and monotonicity is tired of it but has to continue doing it ,his source of motivation being It’s a manga about doing films made by film lovers for film fans. When it was made available online for free, the framing and directing just blew me away considering it was just a one-shot manga, and the methods used for the manga are also incredible. Like how the author put together every piece of a scene in such a beautiful way. This time around, I was able to fully appreciate Tatsuki Fujimoto’s distinctive mood and aftertaste. It’s just that good of a one-shot manga. The story is an emotional journey. It kinda leaves you heartbroken and satisfied at the same time, as with Fujimoto's other works. regret is as human an emotion as can be. it exists because humans can think. thinking about what happened in the past and reflecting on it is one of the most human things possible. and regret is the negative part of this reflective process. it often leads to questioning ones life up until this point.

Fire is punch is messed up, and the structure of the world is terrible but there’s something about the series that makes you go on a binge ride. It’s the pacing and development. The development is unpredictable. Even the point of view changes on an even keel depending on whether or not you want to clasp the theme and characters. It is always running fast without knowing who to attach to. But that’s what makes it an interesting title. If you want to delve more into the world of Fujimoto, then Fire Punch is your way to go. It got the gore, it got the action, it got almost everything in an unbalanced way that set the stage for Chainsaw Man in 2018. 1. Chainsaw Man (チェンソーマン) Book Ends: The Dream Sequence begins and ends with one of the two heroines making a critical decision after reading a comic from the other timeline that one made about the other. Refusing to be beaten by someone who barely attends school, Fujino devotes herself to learning to create manga. As time goes on though, her goal of outshining Kyomoto seems to only get further and further away, and Fujino, now in sixth grade, eventually gives up and quits making manga. Muhyo & Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation: Magical Genus Magic Tool Master Chapter (2018–2019) The story itself is pretty "basic" you can say. But, It was so personal and real. That it's really going to resonate with me for a long time.

Tale of a dark hero who integrated with the devil. The story follows a guy named Denji, a poor young man, who happened to have a pet chainsaw dog, Pochita! that turned his life upside down when it merges with Denji’s dead body and grants him the powers of a chainsaw devil. Tatsuki Fujimoto describes the one-shot as Koi wa Moumoku/Love Is Blind. There is no further explanation and I have no intention of explaining it. As the title suggests, love is blind. Love sure is blind and when Fujimoto writes something with that concept it goes beyond blind. This is the second one-shot of Fujimoto’s one-shot in “Jump plus”, following his pre-debut award-winning work Sasaki-Kun stopped the bullet. Unlike the dystopian setting of Fire Punch, this work is a high school student’s school romance with a faint romance in it. in the same school newspaper. They became friends and worked together on one-shots and did pretty well. When the chance for a serialization came the characters parted ways .The protagonist accepted the job and the other girl got to art school.Later on we learnt that she was murdered in a terrible incident that happened there. The truly shattering scene is when the protagonist visits her old friend's room and starts imagining a different timeline ,where she saved her friend and they worked together again.Life goes on and so returned to her work that was on a hiatus. It’s probably one of those Fujimoto’s rare works where there’s no violence, gore sex, or anything involved in it. I love this manga. Out of all the Fujimoto works I’ve read this was probably the most fun to read.Dumb Humor, love, confessions, basically the straight-up school romance meme by Fujimoto. He probably saw something funny or wanted to take a little break from all these sex, and blood things for a while and just made a one-shot manga to chill around. Well, that’s just my thoughts but I won’t be surprised if that’s the case. Anyway, read it. I won’t spoil the fun. Read by yourself. It received an honorable mention at the 9th Crown Newcomer Manga Award. 5. Yogen No Nayuta/Nayuta of the Prophecy (予言のナユタ) In our transient life, we can only do so much. Will we end up with wishes about our past, about what we could have done differently? Of course. But sooner or later we must move on. This is a common theme, but in this work it’s expressed beautifully, not least because the story decided to portray what a person has already done as a source of motivation for the future.art: well fujimoto already worked on chainsa wman and fire punch and his art is still great, it's still one of my favorite drawing styles. The biggest gripe I have is the character designs. Fujino and Kyomoto look slightly different as kids because they have different hair-dos but otherwise are identical. Then there’s the time jump and it’s not immediately clear who we’re following, particularly as they now look like the other character but aren’t. Fujimoto is a gifted artist but he really needs to make his characters more distinct than simply giving one slightly longer hair than the other, particularly if you’re then going to give a different character the exact same cut as the other character later on down the line! It’s so unnecessarily confusing.

Along with illustrator Oto Tōda, Fujimoto published the one-shot Just Listen to the Song ( フツーに聞いてくれ, Futsū ni Kiitekure, "Listen to Me Normally") on Shōnen Jump+ on July 4, 2022. [33] Influences [ edit ] Minutes into the Past: The manga was released in 2021, and set from 2002 to 2016. This isn't really relevant to the plot, but a detail that makes it so Fujimoto's Author Avatars were born around the same time he was. But also a story of friendship sketched out, between two teenagers, one arrogant, mischievous and falsely sure of herself, the second, shy (even hikkimori) but careful and diligent; their complementarity being symbolized by these mangas that they will draw with four hands, one for the scenarios/characters, the second for the extremely neat decorations. Only, rather than clinging to these sensitive little details, Fujimoto, himself perhaps still a teenager in his approach, cannot help slipping slightly down two slippery slopes: on the one hand, the one who thinks that t is absolutely necessary that a drama occur (as such, he probably went beyond the medium and its prerogatives less than he thinks), then, that of a pathos sometimes slightly too strong. Despite everything, a recommendable one shot, revealing the sentimental aspect of an author ostensibly more busy rolling mechanics. On the other hand, manga leads to months of despondency, a working life that, while successful, leaves the creator isolated, alone, overworked, and depressed. And, of course, that moment that shows that manga can change people’s lives for the worse, as well as for the better, and end lives rather than save them. The story also ends with the question “Then why do you draw?” which is never answered and the final image is a sombre one, perhaps suggesting that Fujimoto himself regrets becoming a mangaka. Or maybe the silent answer is “destiny” and that’s the answer as to whether the previous scenes were real or not - we can’t change our paths in life even if we want to.

Fourth-grader Ayumu Fujino regularly draws four-panel manga for her school newspaper and is lauded as having the best artwork in her class. One day, she is asked by her teacher to turn over one of her manga slots in the school newspaper to a truant student named Kyomoto. When Kyomoto's manga pops up alongside Fujino's, it receives high praises for its detailed artwork, making Fujino furiously jealous. Loners Are Freaks: A significant part of the one-shot centers on how lonely making art can be. Fujino as a child is shown to be a relatively normal and outgoing, but starts to be ostracized by her friends and has a more distant relationship with her family as she becomes fixated on being a good artist. Even when she becomes friends with Kyomoto, their lives revolve around making art, and Fujino questions if sacrificing so much for it mattered at all after Kyomoto's death.

fitting for the manga format, what the main characters, fujino and kyoumoto, interestingly sharing kanjis with the mangaka fujimoto himself, create is manga. Comic Natalie (in Japanese). Kyomoto stopped attending school from a very young age, apparently due to anxiety and agoraphobia, and took up drawing to pass the time. It's also shown how Fujino's dedication to making manga isolates her from her friends and family. After Kyomoto's death, Fujino questions if art ruined their lives, and if her friendship led to Kyomoto's attending art school and being killed.
