The sex and nudity in these movies nearly always is played for laughs, and of course it is soft-core porn, but even today this is racy stuff--the hardest that Meyer's work ever got. They're having problems in (you guessed it) the bedroom, as Levonna wants to have sex normally, but Lamar only likes to go in through the backdoor. Please help by spinning off or relocating any relevant information, and removing excessive detail that may be against Wikipedia's inclusion policy. So I guess the estate is making some money, but certainly not as much as it could if it were run by someone who cared even a bit. This was the perfect gift for my Old Man who likes old films and big breasts and it made his day when he got this.

Finally there is Lamar, who anally rapes his large-breasted wife Lavonia ( Kitten Natividad) after she tries having vaginal sex. Nonetheless the impeccable Kitten Natividad and the often unmentioned, but still unforgettable Ann Marie stay true to Meyer fashion and manage to suck in the viewer while Meyer dishes out social taboos and common problems associated with the modern couple. He spent most of his time by his pool, or exercising on a rudimentary weights bench at the side of his house.That's the only true plot thread--which is more than some Meyer movies have--and we follow him as both he and his wife try to "heal" him of this great psychological handicap.

Suddenly she takes her robe off, sits down on him and rapes him, all the while preaching to her listeners about his salvation. If they don’t have the funds to do a proper film restoration, they should license the films to someone who has.I don’t understand why they have zero interest in doing anything with the name Russ Meyer and his work. We see a lot of a few other women, too, including a melon-breasted Christian radio announcer, and, rather unfortunately, a junk yard proprietor (you'll understand when you see her). Even more unfortunately, there is A LOT of male nudity in this movie, which is going to turn off most men.

In my opinion, Meyer is at his best when he's mixing comedy porn with a thriller plot structure - with Faster Pussycat! By the time he bought the handsome A-frame house at 3121 Arrowhead Drive in the mid 1970s, Russell Albion Meyer had made thirty or so feature films. The situations that various characters find themselves in generally are funny - with the scenes that sees Levonna get her wig and Spanish phrase book, and a sequence taking place in a dentist's surgery being the highlights of the film.Natividad "because of the shit-kicker style, worked with Bob Easton, who is a very good dialect coach" and because June Mack "spoke without any trace of accent. When seeing Lamar still has his pants down, the doctor tries to rape him, but Lamar hides in the closet. If you're familiar at all with Russ Meyer's work, you know to expect 1) really big breasts and 2) bizarre filmmaking with strange plots and weird imagery. The movie is based in a small town USA and centers around the married couple of Lammar and Levonna and the sexual frustration of Levonna, here on in ensues a fantastic comedy soft porn romp in which the couple meet various colourful charactors along the journey to help cure Lammar's bedroom leanings, ending up in the fantastic 'Church of Rio Dio Radio' where in lies Eufaula Roop, who has to be seen to be believed.

Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens (1979) Believe it or not even in Smalltown USA there are still people who are unfulfilled and unrelieved in the midst of plenty. The gay marriage counselor, attracted to Lamar's problem, couldn't help them and Lemar must finally seek redemption at the church of Rio Dio Radio and the laying on of hands by Sister Eufaula Roo. His virtually-patented "up through the bed springs" shots are unmistakable and this film serves as the perfect showcase and record of this unique, yet effective technique.

That film left me discombobulated to say the least, but I had to seek out everything that madman made and I did! The plot isn't really relied upon and the film is more of an excuse for Meyer to present a load of silly scenes; but that isn't a problem. She initially claimed Meyer told her to do that, but he wasn’t of sound mind then and almost certainly had no idea what was going on. Beneath the Valley is one of Meyer's better known works, largely due to its broader distribution, over-indulgence of feminine beauty and crass humor.
