About this deal

My horse chiropractor recommended I buy copper sulfate at Home Depot, which is the stuff you put to clear drains, and mix it with vinegar, clean the area thoroughly, and spray the mixture 3 times a week. Finally, I seemed to be making real progress. Immerse the hoof completely into the Cleantrax solution (If a bag is used, pull the top of the bag up above the knee and tie or tape it closed). After soaking, DO NOT RINSE OR DRY THE HOOF; cover the hoof with an empty plastic bag, seal the top, and allow vapours to penetrate for 30-60 minutes I just got my girls feet done last night and the farrier told me that both have thrush (which I figured as much) but also the beginning of White Line. She told me it is very very mild and isn't a cause for worry but to take care of it. I love my girls, so obviously I will! Developed by a leading US chemical company, this same unique material is being used to treat deep-seated fungal infections of the finger and toenail in human patients. It is also used to irrigate surgeries and open wounds to eliminate the risk of secondary infections.

I think I will try the CleanTrax but I think I will carry on to clean it daily too because I just don't want to take the risk of it getting worse. Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) Soaks, Oregano Oil, Tea Tree Oil - All of these have their fans too! There is a wide variety of ways to use oils topically, and ACV makes an extremely mild and effective soak for mild thrush, yeast and shedding frog problems. A CleantraxDeep Penetrating Horse Hoof Cleanser in a 25 Gram Bottle.Easy To Use and Ideal for Soaking and Treatments for Horses Hooves. The clean trax sounded like such a hassle, and the boot too...but it was not at all. I just tied him to his feeder/stall wall wearing the boots, after his hoof was trimmed while the farrier worked on other horses..then he shod this gelding. Was the horse whose feet you soaked shod? Is it Ok to use on a shod horse or must they be barefoot for the full effect? Posted on Tuesday, Apr 13, 2010 - 8:49 pm: Well...7 years after the last post i am going to guess at the penetration. I bought these very tall soaking boots, and you have to mix it up in the 1 gallon per foot with the clean trax. I let it soak 90 minutes on both front feet. I am wondering if the water is so high in the boot, it is causing the solution to go up into the tubules? c. Since then, on another horse, we used White Lighting Gel with a duct tape boot. It worked equally as good.

When horses with thrush have a habit of planting their feet in urine, I advise that the thrushy feet be cleaned and treated, then placed in boots with a lot of "hoof" powder. This provides relief, is often enough to break the habit of standing in urine. and will dry up superficial thrush in a week or so.One other thing it says best used fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 14 days. I wonder if you could do that with Clean Trax. I am sure they would say no because they want you to buy more product. CleanTrax is available in single-use 25g bottles.
