About this deal
Bringing all these ideas to life are Jerome Opeña’s pencils and Matt Hollingsworth’s colors, and they do an incredible job. Most importantly, both stories have fantastic ideas and art that are grounded by relatable themes and characters.

It’s not even a remotely compelling story: there’s Adam Osidis’ dull farm life followed by a big confusing fight between the goodies and the baddies which takes up a lot of space, and then they’re on the road. With visuals that completely and utterly outweigh the narrative it is hard to rate this above three stars.

After hearing great things about Rick Remender and Jerome Opeña’s newest collaboration, I was excited to get into the first volume of Seven to Eternity.Opeña breathes life into the characters with designs that leap off the pages, and the coloring is something of beauty. Although the artwork was good, I felt the story was a bit uninteresting and on occasion difficult to follow. Sometimes a new civilization will be shown, which is fascinating and I'd like to know more about it, but they are just the background and there just wasn't time to learn about them.
