I love both the H&h in this book and Richard is probably one of my fave LH hero's. Paris Sweeny is a clairvoyant artist and Richard is a wealthy businessman who's estranged socialite wife owns the art gallery where Sweeny displays her work. A man who see something he likes and from now on has a very (intense) good eye for a special shy brown haired female artist. When I had my first child at 18, I was told I wasn't going to play football and that was my career done, but I proved people wrong. I love Sweeney and her social awkwardness, how she doesn’t like crowds and social niceties. It was also so cute how scatter-brained she could get when involved with her painting ;-) The fact that men were barely a blip on her radar before and her confusion about her sudden need for Richard was also very funny ;-) She made him grin. Hell, she made him laugh. He had the feeling he could spend every day with her for twenty years and not know all of her quirks or exactly how her mind worked.

I've read maybe 7 or 8 of her books and I've quite liked them all, but in each case couldn't help thinking 'this would be better if....'. At the time, the significance of the mainstream exposure on BBC One was lost on Phillip and her team-mates. The story plot was so cleverly put together, and I greatly enjoyed it! A nice, fast-paced, psychological thriller that will give you the chills constantly, make you start biting your nails again, scroll through the next chapters and forget about your sleep until you’ve finished it!. It also helped that heroine refused to have relationship with hero until after he is divorced. Though hero was an estranged husband for more than a year and his wife cheated on him repeatedly.
