I love Robyn Carr, (Virgin River) series, but I hate that they changed so much from her beautiful books. And, as if it wasn’t enough, the Gabriel Series were optioned by Passionflix and the Gabriel’s Inferno movie is set to release in May 2020!

But I fell for The Professor Gabriel Emerson since the very first lines and I can't bring myself to fall out of love. There is also an element of suspense here as someone or something seems to challenge Gabriel and his new family. Now, I have terrible bookzheimers, and I didn't reread the previous books prior to diving in to book 4, so it took me a while to get my head back around where there story was at, but once I did it was full steam ahead for me.

The feeling that I got while reading Grabriel's Promise was of suspense, I always felt like something was going to happen, it felt like they were constantly overserved or follow by someone, that really kept me super intrigued at all times thinking something was about to happen. The book ends with possibilities of more novels in the series but i think it might be time to leave things be.

These would include finding out the identity of the night intruder, how the memento mori came to be left at the Emerson residence, and answers to some of the questions and mysteries that Gabriel has with the Divine Comedy. The story of their love is breathtaking and beautiful, now that they are married, we get to know more about them, they now have a baby girl named Clare.While there was quite a bit going on, not once did his love for his wife and newborn falter and that's what I loved the most. Family stays together and they cheer and support each other no matter our disagreements or how different we all are. But in Gabriel’s Promise, Julianne steps up and starts being more assertive with herself, her family, and her career. Especially, considering that some parts of the storyline were not even resolved by the end of this book. Clare is portrayed as a very delightful growing child, who has two very and adoring doting parents and a wide extended equally devoted circle of family and friends.
