Tried many boost pedals, finding most of them adding too much high end, and very little if not no, tone adjustment. The metal chassis combined with compact design means that the Boss GE-7 has no problem going on the road. I knew they’d gone to surface mount like a lot of the other pedals and now can’t be modded so is it that Boss themselves have changed the circuit whilst doing this?Amazing that it's taken them this long to address a fault that's been widely known for about forty years.
