The silhouette pays homage to Henry Lightfoot, who was highly recognised and known as one of the founding fathers of the Peaky Blinders gang. Not only is the notorious gang known for operating in Birmingham but, it is also home to the Sadler’s brewery where the production magic happens. What to pair with spiced gin? How about sweetening (or souring) the deal with sweet runny honey and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Created in the 1890s and served to miners after their shifts, this version of the whiskey-shot-beer-chaser comes from Ireland with love. Pour yourself a pint and a shot – that’s it! Some add the whiskey to their stout to ‘bomb’ the drink.

STORING COOLE SWAN: Unopened, Coole Swan lasts two years on the shelf. Once opened, our slimline bottle fits easily in the fridge and will last for six months. Finally strain through a fine mesh sieve into a coupe glass and garnish with a lemon twist (or a piece of honeycomb for a showstopper.)
