About this deal
Nerrad Tools was founded in 2010 by Darren Chalkly, an experienced gas engineer/plumber with over 25 years “on the tools”. During the process of designing and producing all our products, our missions is to create a product for professionals, constructed to the highest standards, making everyday plumbing tasks easier to carry out. We also track your visits using Google and Facebook, along with serving personalised ads via AdRoll.
While inserts from other companies have damaged the materials I work with, Tappex identified a product which meets my technical needs perfectly. Tappex®, as a fastenings technical-leader, has identified bespoke requirements for mechanical joining of contemporary materials such as glass-reinforced plastics (GRP), combinations of metal alloys / plastics, structural foams / woods / paper-based sandwich constructions and increasingly carbon / kevlar-fibre laminated constructions. Several factors contribute to the popularity of the products on our site, including prestige, relevance, reputation, news, and more. This will ultimately make the engineer more productive and save them time and money, and the Tapex kit does exactly that!
Typical applications are either machined or moulded plastic(s) applications at ambient temperature or installed with heat applied.
Nerrad Tools, maker of the renowned Tapex kit, has recently brought to market what it thinks is an industry first in the form of a tote specially designed for plumbers! There was already a vast array of plumbing tools on the market, but he felt there was room for further improvement and innovation. Nerrad tools provide a comprehensive range of plumbing products that are constructed to the highest standards, making everyday plumbing tasks easier to carry out, so that ultimately you (the engineer) can be more productive. uk requires consistent care for the products we review, ensuring that our assessments are always accurate and up to date. Such threaded inserts can be supplied either in either brass or steel material(s) for post-mould ‘self-threading’ and/or ‘press-in’ installation.
