I first heard about water walls over at Let the Children Play, and I was so inspired by the creative contraptions there that I decided to make one for my home daycare. It can also teach children about mass, volume and the weight of materials - see how much water volume you can save from splashing on the floor! An engaging addition to the TTS Sand and Water Tray 039244, children can explore pouring, tipping and channelling. They’ve all been designed specially to challenge EYFS children, whilst the next developmental steps can be progressed. They both seem to work well so either would do- having a variety just means we have more options in the future if we think of some different things to attach to our water wall.
