Baking soda – Knowing how to clean with shoes with baking soda can be very handy. Make a simple paste of baking soda and warm water, before gently scrubbing into the stained area with a toothbrush. Allow the paste to work its magic for a few minutes, then wipe off with a damp cloth and let the shoes dry.

Ingredients: There aren’t many natural and effective shoe cleaners on the market, but we did find a few and included the most powerful ones. You read that right. To help your damp leather shoes maintain their shape – and dry out the interior – you can stuff them with paper towels to absorb any moisture inside! (This isn’t necessary for mesh shoes, though.) Then just let the shoes air dry thoroughly, then they’re good to go. For all-white laces, a bleach solution will do wonders (just wear gloves for protection!). Place them in a small laundry or mesh bag, and soak for five minutes in a mix of 1tbsp bleach to 1 litre of water. An increased bleach concentration turns the white shoes yellow. S0, prepare a dilute bleaching solution for cleaning. If your sneakers have laces, take them out before cleaning the shoes. Get the Magic Eraser wet and rub it on any stains and scuffs on the shoes. A Magic Eraser is often enough to clean off stains and get the shoes white again. White vinegar – Though delicious on your chips, white vinegar is also dandy when it comes to removing stains – and especially handy for cleaning mould off shoes. Create a solution of two-parts white vinegar mixed with one-part warm water. Use an old toothbrush to scrub at stained areas, and then remove the vinegar solution from the surface with a damp cloth. Bleach is a harsh cleaner; if you don’t use it properly, it will damage the shoe structure. You must pay more attention while cleaning shoes with bleach than with a mild detergent solution.If you follow the safety tips properly, bleach will not ruin your shoe material. Also, ensure the solution is diluted and soak your shoes for less time to make them new and bright. Can You Soak Shoes in Bleach Overnight? Brush off loose dust and dirt. Hold the shoe over the garbage or take them outside, then gently move a soft-bristle brush in small circles, working top to bottom, to remove any loose debris. This will prevent your shoes from being a muddy mess when you wipe them with a wet paper towel.
