About this deal

Your Hatchibaby is lots of fun straight away because it is really interesting even at the egg stage. You need to put your hand behind it's head and touch it's forehead twice to encourage it to show you the special trick. Sometimes toys like this are a great hit at first but don't have a lot of play value after the initial 'reveal' and are soon left to be ignored. For example purple means its hungry and needs feeding with it's bottle; red means its upset and needs to be petted or placed in it's eggshell; blue means its sad or scared and needs petting or it's cuddle buddy. Wait for its eyes to go purple so that you know your Hatchibaby is hungry then press the bottle into his mouth and press down.

My kids loved the egg play stage of their Hatchibaby, especially as the egg also moved and rocked back and forth, delighting my six year old little girl, who declared that the HatchiBaby was dancing and wanted to get out.

There is a “peek a boo” function, if you cover your Hatchimals HatchiBabies eyes for 2 seconds, they will repeat it in their language.

It looks like Hatchimals HatchiBabies is going to be one of the hit toys this Christmas and likely to sell out. Inside the egg are four accessories hidden within peel and reveal compartments; a bottle, hairbrush, rattle, and cuddle buddy. Again the colour of it's eyes and it's noises indicate what it needs and the tip and tricks sheet help you to decipher the colours.Since their launch, Hatchimals have been the Christmas gift at the top of every child’s letter to Santa. I’ll let you into a little secret, different species may come with different accessories…Shhh you didn’t hear that from me! To discover what your Hatchibabies secret trick is rub the back of it's head until it's eyes turn purple then tap the from and back of the head (either side of the bow) twice at the same time.

Harry particularly loved to brush Ponette’s hair, change his nappy, and the cute little noises he made as he did. Today is Hatchimals Day, the day that the brand new Hatchimal Hatchibabies are being released here in the UK. The eggs all look the same on the outside so there is no way of knowing whether you have a boy or girl until they hatch, although Harry was pretty certain it would be a boy! To find out what this is you need to touch and hold the back of its head and press the forehead sensor twice. But the gender of your HatchiBabies will stay a surprise for you right up until it has hatched to make it even more exiting!

First, there was the original Hatchimal, the following year we were introduced to Twins, and this year, for me is the most exciting! Last but not least, do not forget about the scroll hidden right in the middle of the base of the egg. The Hatchimals family is growing and there are some even more awesome surprises with these Hatchimals HatchiBabies, including the egg rocking back and forth and Hatchifans won’t know if it is a boy or a girl!
