For those who think this fragrance has small sillage and low longevity, caution: my driving instructor almost suffocated and kept opening windows several hours after i applied just two spritzes of Aphrodisiaque! The perfume is so boring and not sexy and not interesting,that will not suffocate anybody and at the same time you are not without fragrance on yourself. One expects APHRODISIAQUE to be X or at least R rated, the type of thing not to be worn to work and so on. I started reading the reviews of my fellow Fragrantica-lovers ( yes, you my darlings) and I read the comments on the design of the bottle.If you want something that has more of a strong, independent, sexy woman type of vibe, you probably won't find that here. Launching in November 2016, Pure Aphrodisiaque is announced as “a captivating fragrance inspired by woman’s warm sensuality," inspired by the design of the "Sparkly" line of fine lingerie. The top notes of mandarin, anjou pear and rum merge into the sweet floral heart of wild orchid, tuberose and Indian sambac jasmine.

The sillage is okay for a cheaper perfume but the longevity isn't that great; it becomes clean smelling and just blends with your skin scent.The pear is big and ripe in the top with loads of amber, musk and some orchid, jasmine and tuberose. I was expecting a deeply rich, animalic, skanky perfume with too much civet for it's own good, hypnotizing resins, thick boozy honey, and orchid so intense you're wheezing as the pollen rises to buffet you over the head.

I usually don't think that white florals are done well; however, the white floral in this is done magnificently. On the other hand, if you expect the fragrance to match its name you will be sorely disappointed because this is soft, sweet, shy, demure and it whispers the color "baby blanket pink". Maybe something for day time, or I could imagine people wearing it when they first start going clubbing. I disagree with the negative comments and agree with the positive ones 😃 it has something unique about it, no other fragrance smells like this. The person who put the name' Aphrodisiac 'on it is probably impotent or a virgin and has no idea what sexy really is.

Suitable for evening wear, these perfumes are the perfect additional item to complete any outfit and get you ready for a wild night out. Initially I really liked this one, from the bottle I could smell a delightful sweetened resinous musk.
