This unmatched Irish malt is at the heart of all Bushmills Irish Whiskeys and creates a unique combination of smoothness and richness.

The first-class Black Bush 1 l of Bushmills from Ireland flows in eye-pleasing amber hue into the brightly polished glass. Now they may enjoy a break as he uses the written word to bring that enthusiasm onto a wider audience.Not every day can be an integrity single malt one, so when you're looking for an easy going, smooth and sherried dram the Black Bush will not disappoint. The banana and melon note from the nose are there too but then after a little pepper spice hit, there’s a tannic sourness that appears. Note: all designs may vary slightly where necessary, due to the shape and engraveable space on the chosen bottle.

A rich, dark, Irish blend, Black Bush contains a high proportion of triple-distilled single malt, aged in Oloroso sherry casks for around 8-10 years before marriage with the grain. When I taste the liquid now in their newer bottle label, I am no longer reminded of the very vivid experiences, but more about what could have been if they offered a better tour on their distillery grounds. We were lucky on that day to see first-hand a spirit run in full flow, but any other day it would have been ‘here are the pot stills… moving on’.First neck pour left me wondering if it had anymore to offer, but a few drams in (and some resting time in between the daily sampling), I am able to confirm that the whiskey has opened up. Your traditional Speyside flavours are released as you open the bottle with a slightly floral, mineral-inspired malted aroma, with citrus honey and orchard fruit notes.

Do however indulge in the smooth arrival and development; it's perhaps too easy to sip your way through. A memorable whisky moment for me was when the tour group entered one of their many, many cask warehouses.
