I had a friend with me while I was trying the perfume and I had him sniff it too to get a guy's idea. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates. Just like all Chloe's bold, arty and free-spirited designs, the fragrance is feminine in a rather non-traditional, not all-out-girly way.

This perfume exudes the timeless stylish aura of the early 2010s, when french memorabilia flooded the online world with its twee nature. The airy, flirtatious, head notes drift away to reveal the heady magnolia and lily of the valley, as well as subtle intimations of warm amber and elegant cedarwood.She was wearing a liberal amount of Chloe Eau de Parfum and happily, as my husband and I sat behind her we were enveloped in her beguiling cloud of rose, peony, litchi and and freesia. To me, it is extremely feminine in the same way that Delina and its flankers are, lovely to the point that I struggle to find the right occasion for them. To me, it is sharp rather than soft, as others have noted too, but sharpness feels like breathing in bleach. As it dries I smell white and green floral touches, meant to bolster the rose accord, but to me they smell screechy. I honestly can't even smell the floral, it reminds me of those green cleaning products that contain eucalyptus oil or something of the sort.

Her liquid lipstick smudged under her chin and she almost slips on the tile, letting out a dainty little "oh! Chloé Eau de Parfum begins with a combination of floral powdery notes, hints of peony and lychee and springtime freesia.

Perhaps because this is the first version in Chloe's Rose line, it is not as smooth as later versions.
