After Harvesting Cherries Are Crushed And Mixed With Spirit Sugar And Spices And Then Matured For Three Years In Heerings Cellars At Dalby. Cherry Heering is made by crushing cherries, then mixing them with sugar and spirits and spices, which are matured in cellars in Dalby for three years. This award-winning cherry liqueur was first produced in 1818 in Copenhagen and is still made according to the traditional family recipe. Heering Cherry Liqueur is a deep, brick red colour; the daddy of cherry brandies, made to a recipe dating from 1818 and matured for three years before bottling.
