About this deal

I’ve only got the 15 had for around year now and love them nice and light straight forward to use now and again I put little bit of silicon grease on the plastic guide just make it smoother as some copper is just well not great and makes world of difference with the pull. However, when I'm working on a job where I've just got 15 mm, it is a bit handier carrying just a small set rather than me big clumpy bending guide. You've got markings on the side for your angles and just in case it's a Saturday morning job, they've thought of everything. That gives you that extra power for if you bend in the tight bends or if you're bit of a weaken like me.

I've heard a few people say, oh well what about the Former, it's plastic whatever, but it's replaceable. They are a good bit of kit lightweight and so easy to use with no former needed for bends ,perfect for to bags small and compacted. What I like about it is the inbuilt former, which means you don't lose it in the van or your toolbox or on site. Also referred to as manual tube benders or conduit benders, they are a versatile tool for many tradesmen and professionals. All bend markings are in a good place, and the fact that your bending arm is in the same plane as your pipe, it makes it so much easier to get your sets completely straight and even.

The springs work slightly differently, in that you feed the tube inside the spring and carefully bend using pressure with your knee. I actually think they are quite cheap since they are just a different level of quality to any other bender I have used. The pipe bender itself comes in two actual parts which simply clip together to create a pipe bender. We have included bending angles of 30 45 60 and 90 degrees on the XV and XVL 15mm versions and an additional 75 degree angle on the 22mm version; these are easily visible on the Former of each bender. So it just goes like this, get your copper pipe and it locks on and then with very little effort you can bend the pipe.

After a few years of wanting to up my bending game I finally caved and got a pair with some promotion or another. The guides and the former are built in and it's made of nylon, the guide is so it's quite a strong plastic, quite still slides. No fiddly guide that you put down then go back to find it to form another bend and can’t find it again.
