About this deal

Hope y’all had a laugh tho😭 Anyway Jacks and Evangeline absolutely ruined me in this book, but I absolutely love how emotional this story managed to make me. Just as she turns around to find him, Honora breaks the helm on Chaos’s head, and Evangeline sees his face, that of the Handsome Stranger. So, dear reader, consider yourself warned – if cliffhangers aren’t your thing, consider holding off on reading The Ballad of Never After until the next book in the series comes out later this year.

the writing is just like "this forest is so magic and fairytale like - wow much magic, much fairytale". Apart from the hotness I once again enjoyed the fairytale vibe, I love Stephanie Garber's writing and how she described North with its magic and mysteries. On her way back to Chaos’s castle, she happens upon Luc in the forests, who shows her his invitation to LaLa’s engagement party, hoping she will join him. Then quietly, as he ran a cloth along her lower back, just below the dip in her waist, “would you be jealous if I did? The next day, when she’s healed and released from the cage, she escapes the castle and runs into the surrounding woods, where Apollo immediately finds her and hunts her again.if you love characters that do everything they can other than admit their feelings, well, jacks and evagaline are the perfect couple for you. More pieces fall into place for Evangeline as she sees Castor did not die in the Slaughterwood attack on House Merrywood and that the Valor family had not created a monster to avenge his death – Castor had become the monster. Now, I didn't really cry this time but I just sat there and stared at the book in shock because I'd TOTALLY forgotten how this book ended, and I remember so vividly why I was so annoyed that it would take "so long" to get the next book, and yet here we are, and the next book is sitting on my desk. oMl- Help I was actually so excited for this book like I nearly had a heart attack when I saw it on the shelves. She also experiences periods of joy and utter happiness, as well as moments of despair and heartbreak.

I'd ask other characters to donate braincells to her but the other lot isn't much smarter and they definitely don't have braincells to spare. she possesses an unparalleled amount of hope, a sense of determination that keeps her from giving up, and it is this quality that makes her especially compelling. So, if you all were seeing some of my status updates popping up (and there were a lot of them) then you know that I was freaking out literally all of the way through. Jacks takes her to a safe place, an inn in Merrywood, where magic suspends the effects of any curse, and the lashing stops. And I know it doesn’t really make sense as to why he would have cursed him if he doesn’t even want to open the arch, but I think he new Apollo is a bad person and will hurt Evangeline. It’s very ranty but I must go drown my sorrows in a bottle now and make an Evajacks playlist on Spotify that hopefully I can link on here later.
