About this deal
EDIT: It's been a few hours and the dry-down on this is acrid and sour I don't know what's causing that but I do not like the dry-down of this. This is where the confusion on your end takes place, 2018 was the repackaged Erba pura, not when the fragrance was released originally. A burst of citrus unleashes the freshness of Bergamot, seamlessly combining with fruity notes, finally finishing with a flourish on a base of wood and sweet vanilla. My test will be when I wear it to the office and if I get comments because I’m known for stinking the place up with whatever I’m wearing that day! The smokiness overpowers the cheap fruity notes, resulting in the smell of crappy incense from the mall.
Amber Oud Gold Edition Extreme Pure Perfume by Al Haramain Perfumes is a Amber Woody fragrance for women and men. Some may consider it a more masculine fragrance and perhaps it does lean slightly masculine, but that’s exactly why I like it. What I do notice is a brighter, juicier fruity smell that extends into ambery resin, something I can't find to enjoy as much in the original which is now more boring to me. Regarding longevity and projection, this is my longer lasting fragrance( and I have LV - ombre nomade and Mfk - Baccarat Rouge in my collection).
It last really well, and has moderate projection once it dries down- like people will smell you, but it the scent won’t slap them in the face. However two hours later its filling ever room I walk in, and I can smell it every time I move my arms.
There is definitely some resemblance of chocolate and a more mature sweetness than just gummy bears. Obviously I was home a lot and would freely spray this on all day not realizing I was completely going nose blind to it. It felt somehow familiar and then I read that someone said it smells like a teenage girl shampoo and then I remembered it.It's a bit too feminine for me, so I gave my bottle to one of my partners and she enjoyed it immensely.
The first spray was super mossy and herbaceous and gross and became really thick and heavy on the dry down. The bold brassy bottle with the rich scent is a symbol of sophistication influencing those who aspire for finer things in life. I'd say if you're on a budget or you catch a good deal on Al Haramain's stuff, you should pick this up along with Tobacco Edition.Be aware, that the opening is weak, but after an hour or so, this will last the whole day and project strongly for hours. A burst of citrus unleashes the zingyness and freshness of Bergamot, delicately leading into a fruitiness, and finally finishing with woody notes.
