The house features an impressive landing space, thanks to the triangular floor piece which clips into place between the 2 bedrooms to create a landing. This house has fitted in well, and is the biggest of the houses in the village so has more than one family living in it, there are only 4 rooms so deciding on the furniture sets to fit in was a bit difficult but we got a great Kitchen (better than my own), a lovely Lounge with Fire place, a nice Bathroom and separate Toilet and a small Bedroom. Batteries for the two lights go into the fireplace chimney on the outside of the building, and there are switches inside each room to turn each light on and off - same as the old version of the house. This was a great purchase and I have a very happy 4 year old and I expect this present will last for a long time to come - possibly future generations.

There’s also a wrap-around balcony and a reversible floor panel that can be used for extra living space, or as a gorgeous garden area. I use to collect and have Sylvanian Families when I was little and so it's really strange but so nice to now see my daughter playing with them and they are still such a lovely brand and more importantly just as well made and designed as when I was little.Eric brings up a good point about the Courtyard Restaurant in that it seems silly to have a door between the two upstairs rooms, but no door between the one room and the outdoor balcony. It's true that the rooms on the Courtyard Restaurant are a bit small, but I think that they are a nicer size than those in the Luxury Townhome.
