About this deal

This is a novel of love and dispossession in which individual destinies are played out against the backdrop of the country's wider conflicts at the turn of the century, particularly the turbulence and discord wrought by the inevitable clash of different cultures. It’s the perfect novel for young teens and Anne Fine yet again manages to climb into the skin of a teenager and understand how it feels to be one. The 11 February 2016 has finally arrived and with it the publication of my first book Shades of Grey. As entertainingas it is informative, the book examines the nature and quality of imprisonment over the last fifteen hundred years, before surveying present problems and concluding with thoughts on future directions. Even though the author did a good job of getting inside the grieving minds of the three main characters, this novel probably won't be a memorable one for me.

Exploring the platform from the perspectives of technology, texts, and uses, he shows how the Kindle challenges traditional notions of platforms as discrete entities. The mother forges an unrealistic relationship with a young girl who enters her life suddenly and suspiciously, proving that grief makes us quite vulnerable. If I could have changed the circumstances in which I read this book, I'd probably ignore the reviews on the inner cover and the back cover and read more of it in one sitting, rather than just for a few minutes before bed over a long period of time. I agree with the reviewer who applauds M Poland for her approximation of the great 'British tradition' of C Bronte et al. Metro News Canada wrote that "suffering through 500 pages of this heroine's inner dialogue was torturous, and not in the intended, sexy kind of way".The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. I’m not supposed to tell you too much as the book will be on blogtour next week (see details below) and the reviewers will want to share details with those of you who haven’t bought it. The woman is trying to get a do-over after she has lost her family and the house is a character much like it is in Rebecca. It's the story of a family coping with the untimely death of their teen-age daughter and sister, Rachel.

Catherine befriended Keira, mostly ignorant of her character, but drawn to her in some inexplicable way. Jessica Reaves, of the Chicago Tribune, wrote that the "book's source material isn't great literature", noting that the novel is "sprinkled liberally and repeatedly with asinine phrases", and described it as "depressing". If I could remember more details, I would have a much lengthier recollection of Shades, but even some of the names have since left me.And yet - despite himself - he had not left: he'd waited for the catastrophic game to end, as he knew it must .
