I have posted the firmware images for each of the camera models, along with feature documentation and instrucdtions for installing the firmware on my GitHub site. But for both of these positives, Browning has also removed the heat sink from the SOC, which could increase the amount of heat flowing through the PCB. As you can see from the pictures above the Trail camera came with a large strap which is great for strapping it to a large tree. Less power means less heat overall which could reduce the chances that heat from the processor unintentionally triggers the PIR sensor (see: “Run On Triggering” in How (some) Trail Cameras Fail). This camera model is the successor to the Recon Force 4K (2018) model, and thus the new 4K Ultra HD model from Browning.So with a GoPro tripod mount added in it makes it easy to adjust the up and down angle and the side to side movement. A solution would be to use another technique to review videos than the Windows explorer view/preview, so I’d sure like to know what techniques other may be using.
