About this deal

I have to say I prefer that; it’s far more convenient for on-the-go and I don’t want to be lugging anything bulky around. You might want to turn to this handy water bottle if you’ve got any travelling planned, since it naturally filters water using charcoal sticks. Some of the bottles on this list are reasonably expensive when all you’re really after is a vessel to hold water. I left them for hours at a time to test how insulated they really were, both for cold and hot water, and I deep-dived into the materials each is made from to check for toxic materials.

BPA stands for Bisphenol A, an industrial chemical compound used in the manufacturing of strong plastics. I was pretty sceptical, given the aforementioned marketing campaign but I was shocked by how well it worked. Why we love it: As functional as it is cute, this heart-adorned Chilly's reusable cup boasts double-walled insulation to keep your drink hot and cold. However, it comes with a relatively high carbon footprint (a lot of energy gets used firing it in kilns), and can be fragile. Though it’s not dishwasher safe, all you need to do is separate the cap and collar from the bottle and get in there with some warm water and soap (or baking soda if you need to be more thorough). All single coloured Chilly's products are constructed from durable, high-grade 304 stainless steel and finished using an advanced powder coating process. Chilly’s might be best known for its water bottles but it also sells reusable coffee cups in a similar style.

While I maintain there has been a decline in aesthetics, everything that I disliked about the Original has been rectified here. But nothing is perfect, and unfortunately the silicone base started peeling away after only a few uses.

The loop on the handle makes it far easier to carry, and the antimicrobial neck keeps it cleaner for longer. We noticed that the collar and loop are a slightly different shade compared to the bottle, though it’s not surprising as they’re different materials. We focused on flavour, durability, sustainability, how long they kept my drink warm, how small they were on the go, how secure the lid was, whether there were any spills and how grippy each mug was on the go. Why we love it: This cute tea infuser mug is so good if you can't start your day without a good old cup of English Breakfast tea.

If you want to use it for hot drinks as well, opt for a stainless steel insulated bottle like the Yeti Rambler. Myself and my partner have water bottles which keep our water cool in summer at work and they are excellent for travelling abroad with for this reason. It doesn’t claim to be leak-proof but I do think that should be expected these days, especially for a water bottle designed to be used on the go.The mug is thermally insulated, keeping coffee warm for up to 90 minutes, more than enough time to get through your morning latte.

A lover of the chilly bottle , myself and my daughter both were gifted your new coffee cups this Xmas. The Original has a ridged bottom which is noisy and wobbles if a table is knocked, whereas the Series 2 has a flat silicone base which grips any surface and is quiet to set down.
