Wow, there is good reason this book is on the prelim reading lists for nearly every LLB programme in the country. I read it as it looks good on a personal statement for university and it is essential to anyone wishing to study law. Ranging widely across legal skills, source materials, and methods of study and assessment, it introduces legal problems and describes how to tackle them.Relevant for law students and as a retired lawyer I wanted to refresh my fading memory on my journey thru law school. Later chapters about the learning of the law were better, I guess because they relied on the reader's common sense rather than erudition.
