There's definitely a space on the crowded energy market shelf for PWR-BRU - Red Bull and Prime have some competition. Sugar Free lacks the sort of thick, syrupy texture of the original, and Xtra manages to retain that. This fizzy elixir has managed to capture my taste buds and ignite a sense of nostalgia like no other beverage. I think the previous Diet version, although good, kind of lost a bit of the special taste of the original.

Never mind reading this review, go get a can and fill yer pie hole with the quality albeit sugar free version of Scotlands national drink hangover cure. It's way better than the post sugar tax effort and even slightly better than the old full recipe was.Unfortunately I'm very sensitive to the taste of sweeteners in drinks, which left me only able to drink Coca-Cola (which I never liked) and Cherry Coke, which has been ruined by the change in the cherry flavouring. And in a crowded market would it stand up against a heap of rivals from classic Red Bull to new kid on the block Prime? Its distinctive flavor, rich history, and unwavering authenticity make it a truly exceptional drink. I'm not sure it's on the same level as the original we know and love, but I'd defo pick it up again.
