Very dark and mysterious, not for everyone, smells like a roughly done or an incomplete niche fragrance. I must say that I am mystified by all the comments here saying that Joop Homme Absolute is very short lasting. And it's grown steadily to become a scent I reach for on a regular basis all year round, whatever the weather. Getting my nose on Amouage Boundless and this Joop (to my sniff) feels like it shares semblance to Amouage B minus the smokiness from Amouage. But then again, I've complained about barely getting two hours out of Eau Sauvage, where others say they get 24 hours out of it.

I could barely detect it even after initially spraying it and it was gone within an hour, leaving just a tiny hint on the skin that there was something sprayed there. My only negative point would be the inspiration in another popular fragrance according to my nose but to be very sincere, who does not do it nowadays?
