About this deal

The audiobook reflects Rhonda’s own journey and shares the most direct way out for those experiencing hardship and the path to end pain and suffering endured by so many, and it shines a light on a future without anxiety or fear. With all that considered, I was looking forward to an in-depth account of his career in sport, however I felt a bit let down by this. That he was able to produce trophy-winning teams and teams capable of playing intelligent, attacking football without compromising on their grit and graft despite the meagre resources available to him, is testament to his footballing intellect, coaching and man-management qualities. No previous biographer has experienced even a tiny taste of the polar hell on earth endured by Shackleton and his men. With a career spanning over fifty years, Martin tells of his exhilarating highs and painful lows; from the joys of winning trophies, promotion and fighting for World Cups to being harangued by fans, boardroom drama, relegation scraps and being fired.

Random House presents the audiobook edition of Ikigai by Héctor García and Francesc Miralles, read by Noako Mori. A resolve to be a giant among men, to conquer, plunder and seize the greatness that he thinks is his right. Sir Michael Caine knows a thing or two about gangs: whether that’s joining one as a kid, or playing them in movies for over 50 years. Being with your partner may feel like rainbows and unicorns, but that doesn't mean you have a healthy, functioning relationship.Like the rest of us, he's a flawed character and one who is open about how he found it difficult to keep his mouth shut at times. Bought this for my mum as an xmas present and to my surprise there's a big ol' sticker on the cover saying it's a signed copy!

Definitely a nice read for those who remember his work or appreciate his managerial tact, although it must be said it is not as appreciated now as it should be. Little Lien wasn't taken from her Jewish parents - she was given away in the hope that she might be saved. It’s actually a very quick read, a good read though but not an exceptional read considering the weight the name Martin O’Neill carries in Ireland and the UK. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I was mainly interested in his managerial career but I ended up enjoying the part of his playing days just as much, particularly his tales with Brian Clough and Peter Taylor. He became Republic of Ireland manager in 2013 and beat the reigning world champions Germany in the process of qualifying for the 2016 UEFA European Championship for the third time in the nation's history and they made it to the second round for the first time ever. it explains a lot of things especially that episode surrounding his abrupt departure from Aston Villa which, I have to say, left me wondering at the time and thinking that possibly he wasn’t well or something? He reveals what it was like to play under Clough during the glory years, and their incredible journey from the second division to winning the First Division championship, two League Cups and back-to-back European Cups. He demonstrated a unique ability to harness all the best attributes of his mentor with a more understanding approach to players that took him from lower league management right to the top end of the game.
