It's so fast that action begins instantly when you turn on the screen, with virtually no delay between your peripherals and the game. However, the Gigabyte is more versatile for other uses as it has a USB-C port and a KVM switch for productivity. Although it has a local dimming feature, it doesn't do much to improve the contrast, as most content causes all zones to turn on. The Samsung Odyssey G7/G70B S32BG70 and the Lenovo Y32p-30 are 4k 32-inch monitors focused on gaming. The Samsung Odyssey G70B looks like many other Samsung monitors, with an all-black plastic body and RGB lighting zones in front and back.

It has a 240Hz refresh rate with native FreeSync variable refresh rate (VRR) support to reduce screen tearing. Also, there are many bugs with it, and monitors like the Gigabyte M27Q X and the Dell Alienware AW2723DF offer the nearly same gaming performance for a cheaper cost, so unless you really want a monitor with a VA panel, there are better options.

The brightness control adjustment had reduced the luminance to a comfortable level now and contrast ratio remained strong thanks to the VA panel at 2048:1. The MSI isn't as good for dark rooms due to its IPS panel's mediocre contrast, but it provides wider viewing angles, and it has USB-C input.Gradients remained mostly smooth with a little bit more banding introduced in darker tones from the profiling and adjustments.

The white point was also now improved to 6511k which was great news, although out of the box there had been minimal deviance there of only 2% being slightly too warm. They share many similarities, including a fast response time, and while the Samsung has a faster response time at 60Hz, the Gigabyte has lower input lag with 60Hz signals. The Samsung Odyssey G7 has a great 32-inch screen with a 1440p resolution, providing you enough space to multitask.
