About this deal

There is also an input selection button, power on/off button and a square-shaped OSD controller stick.

According to Corsair, each Flex is good for at least 10,000 bends which is equal to three every day for just over 9 years. However, there are some drawbacks to it that don't make it versatile, like its low pixel density and mediocre text clarity, so images aren't as sharp as on the LG 42 OLED Flex, which has a 4k resolution. Set the curve with the CORSAIR XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240 OLED Bendable UltraWide Gaming Display, built with revolutionary bendable OLED technology engineered by LG Display, enabling you to adjust the curve of your screen from completely flat for MOBAs and strategy games to an immersive 800R for simulations and shooters. As those complicated specs imply, the basic question of brightness is a bit of a minefield with OLED tech. Its gorgeous picture quality, fast refresh rate, and accurate colors make it an excellent display for gaming, content creation, and productivity. and USB Type-C connections, the XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240 resets your expectations of what a premier gaming monitor can be. It accepts 4k signals and downscales them to 1440p, which results in a more detailed image than native 1440p. Featuring a 45-inch bendable OLED display with a WQHD resolution of 3440 x 1440, this monitor delivers stunning visuals and vibrant colors.

Reaching under the monitor to access the menu system isn’t entirely a comfortable manoeuvre, but it’s better than having to reach around the side of the cabinet. It’s a really unique and innovative feature and on a screen this size and aspect ratio, we really liked it.Also, even though it's a 1440p monitor, it still accepts and downscales 4k signals, which results in a more detailed image than native 1440p. Being able to adjust the height honestly would have been nice, especially because Corsair has placed the display’s USB hub and OSD and power buttons on the front of the stand just beneath the panel, just behind the bottom tilt handle. The stand is built in to the screen with only the foot needing attachment when you unpack everything and set it up. In practice you do quickly get used to it, and to be honest we didn’t see many issues with it day to day, it’s not horrible or anything and it’s not super-obvious unless you compare screens side by side. A matte screen coating can have an impact when it comes to black depth, contrast ratio and HDR experience but this depends on your lighting and room conditions.

This provides a great deal of flexibility for working, videos and gaming and sets this version apart from the competition so far (which are otherwise fixed curved models). The Corsair also has a few extra productivity features, like a KVM switch and USB-C ports, both of which the LG doesn't have. CORSAIR iCUE software brings your entire setup together, creating a fully immersive ecosystem with intuitive control. On the other hand, the Corsair has a higher 240Hz refresh rate and a bendable screen that lets you adjust its curve to your liking. Alongside these, you will find the on/off button, input selector and toggle to control the OSD menu system.

It was only a matter of time before bendable displays such as the Corsair Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 OLED hit the gaming industry. At 45 inches wide, 21:9 aspect ratio, it’s the largest ultra-wide I’ve seen yet among the best gaming monitors. That princely sum gets you a 45in ultrawide OLED monitor with a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440, a refresh rate of 240Hz, a maximum curvature of 800R and a quoted response time of 0. You can see what it looks like flat here, and you can also watch this quick video of what it's like adjusting it. Treated with an anti-reflective coating that cuts glare and reflections so nothing gets in the way of your immersion, while you play for hours thanks to a protective Low Blue Light technology with EyeSafe® certification that greatly reduces eye strain.
