Please note that this item ships in its own packaging, so the contents may be identified.a codeless kext appears to work (prevents the os from capturing the interface), but then there are timing problems when communicating with the device, resulting in 'broken pipe' and 'transaction timed out' on the usb_control_msg invocations. Your outdoor sensor will connect to an indoor monitor that displays measurements in a standard setup. The solar panels do nothing else; they don’t run the station, they don’t charge the batteries, they just run the fan.

With WiFi, the indoor display receives the wireless signal from the outdoor weather station and sends the data wirelessly to your wireless router.Rainfall and barometric pressure readings also seemed to be on point, and an improvement over previous AcuRite consoles we’ve tested.
