Overall I give this an 8/10, I think it's underrated, and if it lasted longer it would probably be in my top 5. Herrera I need an intense/eau de parfum version of this, not another summer/surf/on ice/whatever… version of 212.

Quick story: I was in my car one day, driving back home at night, many hours after I sprayed a fragrance (a different one) in the morning. I can see Chic as someone’s signature, it’s got some depth though it may need reapplication later in the day. I also bought this perfume when it first came out a long time ago, so I don't know if it was reformulated since.Chic is the perfect name for this frag, it smells sophisticated and is incredibly versatile, I just wish it lasted longer.

The opening is not the best part, the best part is 20-25 minutes in when the spicy mellow musk starts projecting. Very cool perfume, opens with a bitter watermelon, i do not believe it is the watermelon fruit, but something very similar, only more closed and less sweet. Carolina Herrera's scents follow the same style as her fashion - refined, international and above all classic without extra flash or bobbles. I love watermelon scents… so I went around looking for a cologne with this fruity note (that leaned masculine) and found this.Chic for Men by Carolina Herrera is an elegant and sophisticated blend of fresh, spicy and woody notes. it's a soft fragrance, you may think the scent has disappear 2-3 hours after application, but actually it's still there.
