About this deal

These will definitely pump out more than enough volume, while only taking up a small amount of space on your desk!

If you are experiencing audio issues, you may need to check if your sound card driver is outdated or faulty. The Creative Pebble Plus looks like the old Pebble with an added subwoofer, but that’s not entirely the case. The 5V 2A USB adapter allows you to achieve the maximum 8W RMS output, so you get louder, more powerful audio from the Pebble Plus for an all-encompassing audio experience. The display of third-party trademarks and trade names on this site does not necessarily indicate any affiliation or the endorsement of PCMag. Also, the quality offered here is extremely impressive, as these speakers sound well-balanced, clear and full of life.

The sound is once again crisp, clear, and rich—the vocals are delivered with strong clarity, and perhaps a little added sibilance. Such was the case when we played the Battlefield V and Battlefield I soundtracks, along with a number of movie scores done by the late John Barry. The cables are quite long, and we tried to maintain their bundled state (out of the box) as much as possible. They can go pretty loud, especially with the gain which is either controlled through the USB-C plug or manually (button on the bottom of the right controlling speaker). The most noticeable difference is that the Pebble Plus is much more open-sounding, while the Helsinki does sound somewhat boxed most of the time. For users with an older device, your device might not be capable of powering Pebble V2 at its optimal level.
