He was a somewhat complex and interesting character compared to Ava who was fierce, defiant and secretly more broken then she ever let anyone see. Knox , strong boy with a really really tragic past again, and who is a really bad character but since other characters are worse he looks nice in front of them!

Although this story took place when they were seniors in high school, this didn’t seem like an average young adult/new adult romance book. An anonymous letter in her locker starts a story that broke my heart, shattered my soul and then beautifully stitched my hurt over the injustice of life in such a way that I felt energized, revitalized and proud to have met the protagonists of this book, especially Ava. Fast forward ten months later, Ava was back at Camden prep for her senior year, determined to finish the school year strong and hopeful get into a prestigious university.Knox Grayson, King Shark, famous for being the school's star QB, infamous for his under-the-bleacher girls, known for never kissing on the lips. Sigh* The way they couldn’t take their eyes off each other and were so thirsty for every scrap of knowledge to fill in the gaps.
