About this deal

He had promised in the last grand gesture he wouldn’t hurt her (which obvs is pretty imposible because we’re humans) BUT HE COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER, yet they just chose to leave him the same asshole who will just apologize each time and Blake will just constantly forgive him anyways. Blake also might be one of my new favorite characters, I liked her in the first book but from the jump in this one she had me dying. Horrible female lead was immature blamed all her problems on it everybody else and I really hope he would dump her for someone who deserved him more I can't believe all the good reviews on this don't waste your credit.

I couldn't put this book down as it was a real page turner with great characters and a storyline that pulled you in and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

There was an initial ‘you want someone who challenges’ you vibe but then he didn’t… I finished because I was invested in the ending but it isn’t one I’ll read again. When it comes to Blake with other guys, Theo does not tolerate it and always sees red in front of him. Though Blake and Theo had obstacles to overcome, they did the hard work and in the end became stronger for it. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

There was even happy tears I can’t believe how he can be so clueless but know exactly what he needs to do to get the girl.I truly couldn’t put this book down and thought every twist and turn kept me HOOKED the entire time. She knows what she wants both in and out of a relationship and she is not afraid to say it how it is. Blake has been in love with Theo for a long time but he only ever sees her as his best friend's sister so now at the same college as Theo she decides that she needs to move on with her life. Blake was fresh and fun trying to find herself Theo was a brooding mess and Blake put him in his place which i definitely enjoyed seeing! And Theo, hockey captain, a star with a future in the NHL, bringing girls to their knees but never committing, was just so deliciously sexy and captivating. This series is one of those that I’m kicking myself for leaving it on my tbr for so long but also trying to savor it. And even though Blake said she hated him half the time she didn't give up on him, her maturity was one of her best qualities after the Sassy mouth of hers. He’s been in love with her since they were small children but with his position in her life, does not think he could ever cross that line, and she also believes this is a line that can never be crossed - especially now she has an internship as the team’s new physical trainer and therapist. if you enjoy college romances, v-card romances, brother’s best friend, and un-requited childhood crush stories, this is absolutely the book for you!She ends up in the same college as her brother and Theo and after seeing what he acts like she decides its time to move on with one of his hockey team mates. I love the brothers best friend trope, and almost want to rate this higher because it had that trope, but no, you want that trope, there’s so many other books that’s better. Blake has been in love with Theo for years, but thinks he has only ever seen her as his best friends sister.

This was a nice addition to the series and I can’t wait to find out what happens for the next couple. I read “Don’t Let Me Fall” and had my issues with it and honestly, this is the same book, but with worse character development and the same storyline. She never listened either and the hypocrisy of her going on about communication when she was constantly shutting Theo out. I really enjoyed the first book and loved what we saw of Blakelys character so was really keen to read it.
