About this deal

While live 4K football is shown simultaneously in HD and Ultra HD each channel has its own cameras, commentators and studio support.

The aura app is OK and works for remote recording but it also lets you watch live TV and recordings when on your home network, it also has a basic web interface which I use a lot on my iMac, it's a basic interface but actually works well. Start your smart home: Always improving with seamless connections to the latest compatible smart lights and thermostats. Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page.I constantly hit the outer ring of buttons when meaning to use the inner ring thus taking me out of whatever I was intending to do. They mention that it's very quick, and noticeably quicker when scrolling through the EPG and when launching players.

I have said all this already and also 'No' the NowTV recording functionality is coming to the T2100 and T4000 (probably before the new box is even released). They mention that it works well, is small but works perfectly and that the youview app lets them set it to their preferences. Currently, WiFi functionality on the BT TV Pro box does not deliver that exceptional experience, so we have decided to switch off that functionality while we work on a fix. You will need a 4K TV, of course, and you may need to be selective about which port you use as your model may not support Ultra HD on every port (there’s a warning sticker on the box to remind you of this).

I also have a Humax Freesat PVR which gives me better reception for the channels broadcast on the temporary low power Freeview MUXes such as BBC4 HD but since that has joined the Digitalstream in no longer being supported by BBC iPlayer then Youview is the go to device for watching the free catch up services on my main TV (casting from my tablet or HDMI from my laptop are other options especially for subscription services not available on BT Youview such as Now TV for sport and MotoGP Video Pass - which I am trialling for the off season test sessions as a potential alternative to staying with BT TV / Sport).

is slowly becoming available for home entertainment and BT’s 4K YouView box and Ultra HD sports coverage is helping the cause. The bandwidth for 8k will become increasingly “available” as the Fibre revolution takes place and with boxes having a lifespan of at least 6 years i was thinking that it should be future proofed. Agreed any serious box will have HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision (plus support for player driven lldv profile 5), and HLG HDR support. The Humax DTR-T4000 is a YouView+ box, virtually identical in appearance and functionality to the YouView from BT box, except with a 1TB hard disk capable of storing 60 hours of UHD content. That sounds like plenty but that’s standard definition though so record 4K and you’ll only have 60 hours.Tuners: 2x Freeview HD (YouView), Dimensions (WxDxH): 273x152x43mm, Networking: Gigabit Ethernet, Internal disk capacity: 1TB, Warranty: One-year RTB, Details: www. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . Credit subject to status, UK residents only, British Telecommunications Public Limited Company acts as a broker and offers finance from PayPal Credit. On my old toppy I set buttons to fwd skip 4 mins and 1 min, and rewind 15 secs and 30 secs, which was ideal! Recording shows and accessing them proves a cinch and seems reliable, with the MyTV section of the interface housing recordings and scheduled recordings.

I think the only difference in the two boxes is the one you're interested in has the UHD tuner and a larger HDD. Like many cheap boxes, they seem to have programmed in a stupid obligatory split second delay/animation lag from the time you press the button on the remote to the input occurring on screen. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Another difference is that this box is fan cooled, which makes it a bit noisy when the TV's been switched off but is totally necessary as it runs hot enough to fry an egg on. So there are plenty of potential additional charges to be aware of during that initial sign up phase. The remote is a tiny bit fiddly and you do need to but some cheap network mains plugs to 'hard wire the box' via your mains plugs to the router- its really simple. This parcel needs to be accepted at the post office so that the bar code can be scanned and a receipt issued for your parcel. You can simply scroll back and forward 7 days through the guide and choose from a great selection of programmes as well as, watch all your BT TV channels, catch-up TV and on-demand programmes.
